Man...it really seems like this team is bought in 1-15....

Also I have loved what ive seen from Robinson. We havent had this kind of interior rim pressure since the Timelord

George's defense actually looks really good. Also hopefully White can get his shot going this season

This Charlotte team is pretty awful. The rookie Anderson does some nice things.

They are missing 2 of their starters, Kon and Coby.  They should be around .500 this year.

We?re actually hunting that Queta three a bit.  Interesting.  Wonder if that is a shot we believe in or just preseason shenanigans.

He worked on it (still might just be preseason experimentation)

Quote
During training camp, Celtics center Neemias Queta revealed that he worked on his jump shot in the offseason in the hope of spacing the floor more.

"The preparation started with just getting spot shots during the summer, working on different forms, speeds, arches and just getting a better feel for my shot," Queta said. "I feel like we're going to see a little bit more of my shot just off of the positioning we're going to have and just the comfortability I have in it, too".

Queta did make one thing clear, though.

"We cannot stop expecting the same stuff I've been doing all over, which is rebounding, setting great screens and finishing around the paint," he added. "That's my bread and butter".

"If I can add the 3-point shot, let's do it, but I'm not living and dying by it."

Garza will be great for that. He has a nice 3 point shot.

PG may not be shooting well (yet) but making other things happen. Really nice steal and pass. Has great court awareness. For the time being anyway, he moves like he?s 28 not 36.

Glad PG13 keeps shooting without hesitation, even though he is not having a great night offensively. They need him to get comfortable in the offense.

Also, Mitchell Robinson is a way better athlete than I thought. He moves exceptionally well for a 7ft/250lb guy.

Are they still a .500 team without LaMelo?

Its hard not to like Garza.  No matter what stretch of the game his number is called he's ready to come in and play his role.

Not going to lie - really liking the build of this team. We're deep, and we seem to fit really well together around Tatum. There's a lot less ball stopping thus far, and this possession maxing approach just makes sense with this group and its abilities.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

EDIT: Nevermind - back on the Fire Joe Train!

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I guess it?s a good thing when you win by 21 and you still don?t think they looked that great. I guess that?s where the ?possession-maxxing? thing comes into play. More room for error.

Overall some good contributions from a lot of guys. I guess I was just expecting more with Charlotte missing some of their top players

Wonder if Joe will continue the 2 big experiment....worked pretty good tonight.

I like it but I think Qs ability to generate some offense will be a factor. The array of shots Q showed tonight will be unlikely in the regular season. I guess unless Joes seeing something in practice that he thinks needs some in-game cultivation. Hope so as an improved Q will be huge.

Walsh has gotten the starts but it?s still hard to be sure who gets the game 1 start. I?m loving the bench. They can play.
