According to Shams Adebayo struck Herro in the face (he went Bam on him in other words). I guess he didn?t appreciate Herro posting a graphic on his IG showing that Adebayo was one of the worst midrange shooters in the NBA

Former Miami Heat teammates Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro got into a physical altercation in Las Vegas on Friday morning during which Adebayo struck Herro in the face area, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

The altercation happened at a practice court in a Las Vegas hotel.

The Heat and Milwaukee Bucks, the team to which Herro was traded a few weeks ago as part of the Giannis Antetokounmpo blockbuster, were playing Friday afternoon at Las Vegas summer league.

According to sources, the altercation began when Adebayo approached Herro about comments the guard made critiquing the center on social media after their seven-year run in Miami ended.

The Heat, in a statement, said, "We are aware and not commenting." The Bucks had no comment.

Herro was sitting courtside at the Thomas & Mack Center for Friday's game between the Heat and Bucks. He dapped up Milwaukee's summer league players after the game and chatted with Jaime Jaquez Jr. on the court before exiting the building without speaking to reporters.

Sounds like two well adjusted dudes.

Maybe the press should talk more about the Jays not being best friends forever!

I am curious to see how it's gonna go for Miami if they don't get Lebron and the team struggles, because their roster is top-heavy and the bench is pretty bad besides Portis and Larsson. And you know Giannis isn't gonna allow himself to get slandered or take the blame

If Bam is throwing punches over an IG post that Herro didn't even share publicly, then he must be a real hothead behind the scenes. Jimmy Butler is too so they probably gelled.

The incident took place at a gym inside the Resorts World Casino in front of Herro?s AAU team. According to multiple source who witnessed the incident and were granted anonymity to discuss a sensitive matter, Adebayo walked onto the courts and Herro said something to him. Adebayo proceed to walk over to Herro and, without hesitation, punch him. Herro?s AAU coach confronted Adebayo, and Herro yelled at his former teammate while being escorted out by security personnel.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.
