I was listening to Sean Grande. He was saying:
Jaylen finished #10 all time in scoring in Celtics history. Tatum was just ahead of him at #9, then B Russell, Sam Jones, B Cousy, McHale, Parish, Bird (#3), Pierce (#2), Hondo (#1). If Jaylen had 3 more years, he probably would have passed Parish. Well Jaylen & Tatum. And they would be part of the Top 5 scores in BOS history within 3 years.
Apparently Jaylen finished even higher in playoff scoring which is easy to believe with all the long playoff runs they have had here in their 10 years and the longer playoff structure (more games) today than in the past.
Jaylen also finished 7th all time in steals. Pierce is top, just ahead of Larry. Then Rondo & Smart. Then Parish and Antoine Walker. Jaylen in 7th. He is some ways back from Toine (684 steals to 828 for Toine).
---------------
Ha, Jaylen did finished 6th in turnovers sandwiched in between Antoine (5th) and Rondo (7th).
Tatum and Jaylen are 2nd and 3rd in three pointers made behind Pierce. Which is to be expected with the rise of the three point shot over time.
