PG can be moved by himself immediately. He cannot be moved with other players for 60 days.

I highly doubt Boston can find anyone to dump PG on at this point. I have accepted he will be an important part of this team next year and will have to impact winning.

I do think the ball will move better in the offense with PG. He is not a selfish player and will see JT is the focal point. I am not really concerned with him other that injuries. When he plays he is still pretty good. Outplayed JB in the playoffs on both ends.

White is the key to this being a pretty good team. Couple this with the bench and young players taking steps.

KOC emergency pod // fan message

-- PG13 was considered an unmoveable asset at the middle of last season. Now he has been traded for the guy who finished #6 in MVP voting.

Brad did not forget how to do his job in 2 months. He has been very very good.

I also do not buy that JB did not ask to be moved. I think that is BS. I think Brad told him we are not extending you this summer and JB wanted out.

Brad I think gave a very poor offer for Giannis thinking he could still move Brown for what he expected he was worth. Problem is JB was not worth close to that. Honestly no one wanted him on the contract.

Now we are where we are. Could be very good next year with some additions if they can be made.

Don't mind getting PG and the picks. But just those without another player or more assests seems hollow.

I can?t believe I?m asking this, but in some deranged world, could this be a way to gather more picks to somehow throw at the Pistons to get Jalen Duren?  Flip PG, Queta and picks to the Pistons?

Oddly enough ... I think that would improve the Pistons.

Queta replaces most of Duren's contributions. PG13 gives them a better complementary offensive than Tobias Harris was.

Assuming the information from Brian Robb is correct, I thought it would be a good idea to look at the better draft position between Philly and the Clippers over the last ten years

Draft   Better own pick
2026   Clippers ? 12
2025   76ers ? 3
2024   76ers ? 16
2023   76ers ? 10
2022   Clippers ? 12
2021   Clippers ? 25
2020   76ers ? 21
2019   76ers ? 24
2018   76ers ? 10
2017   76ers ? 1

I don?t know that much about duren, but I?m looking at it as a foundational piece.  It gives us a starter who can score 20 a game and can play in the paint.  It moves Robinson to the bench.  He fits with Pritchard, Tatum and White and removes redundancy.

Celtics have 8 first round picks (5 tradable) now.

If they can get PG off their books after next season going into the 2027 summer...they would reset the finances, have 50 million in cap space and a ton of first round picks.

I think this is the plan forward.

This deal was always going to be there; I don't understand the urgency.

Jaylen looks awesome in those AI images of him in a Iverson-era 76ers jersey.

Reminds me of Tim Thomas when they took him in the lottery. He looked awesome in that jersey too.

Philly and New York are neck and neck in my rankings. Very good starting lineups and terrible benches. Among the worst in the league benches. Denver usually rate out like this too.

Top heavy teams.

Suddenly reminded of Gary Washburn warning that this trade - trading Jaylen - would be a black mark on the franchise for many years & decades to come.

Good prediction.

Jaylen Brown never asked for a trade, sources confirm to @SInow.

Brown?s decade-long run?which included six conference finals, two NBA Finals and one championship?comes to a shocking end.
