No real expectations at this point in his career, but I've always liked Mike Conley and it's cool that he's a Celtic.

Won?t really help, but I?ve always been a Conley fan and he?s a great vet and locker room guy. Welcome!
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

EDIT: Nevermind - back on the Fire Joe Train!

How many minutes a game are we giving him? 12-15?

Sure, why not? We need a steadying vet, although I do not expect much more from him than we got from Blake a few years ago.

Yeah, I think there is zero drawback to having a guy like him in the locker room.

I guess at the vet minimum we could do worse. And his $3.8M contract will only count as $2.3M against the cap. I guess this probably signals that we're out on Anfernee Simons, but at least Conley is a proven vet who should help add stability to the backcourt. I don't think we should expect much, though

Why? He was barely playing for Minny before they traded him. Then he was waived and came back to the wolves. I?m sure he is great in the locker room, but he is a shell of himself.

Guess Brad just wanted another vet.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

He is a Max Shulga replacement.  That is an upgrade.

Veteran presence. Well-liked around the league. I don't expect much from him on the court, but I think he will help us.

I'm not sure how much he is going to contribute, but I absolutely love the guy.

Now, time to sign Andre Iguodala and Boogie Cousins.

I don't think I saw a single Conley mention either on here or on social media before this.  Zero chatter.

I would rather have Vucevic for the money.

Feels like PP is the starting PG now.

Should leave Boston with some good money to address the other needs they have...unless those come in a trade
