For me , it's Mobley. I want a dpoy candidate every year, who still has upside on the offensive end

You could add a few more.  Markkanen for sure would qualify for consideration and maybe even Zion.

I am not sure who is the best fit.  None are perfect but all would improve the current rotation. I don't see DET or CLE making a trade.  HOU maybe, but that front has been pretty quiet.  I see Markkanen or Zion being the most "gettable", and maybe Clingan, I am not all that up on the situation in POR.

I would add Jaren Jackson Jr. to your list of bigs.  His salary will match for Jaylen, and I think he fits better for what the Celtics are looking for in a big, although the health concerns are significant.  But Jackson Jr. plus picks is not a throw-in-the-towel move by the Celtics.

You think the Jazz would trade him? I think they traded for him to be part of their frontcourt of the future. His ability to stretch the floor should help the development of George and Peterson tremendously.

I think the Jazz would trade him for Jaylen Brown, yes.

Sengun is the lowest on my list. I think C fans would get annoyed with him quickly. If people think Brown is inefficient, or that Tatum complains to the refs too much, wait till they watch Sengun every night. Still, KAT and the Knicks has given me more confidence in a team's ability to win a championship with a meh defensive center.

Duren and Clingan are pretty similar to me. Both a solid options with upside, but my concern is that Duren's next contract will be significantly more than Clingan's.

Mobley is the best player of the bunch. He provides the best defense overall of the bunch. One concern is that he's probably is not a full-time center. He's a solid scorer, but not high usage like Sengun. He also projects to be able to stretch the floor throughout the prime of his career. But he also would likely be the biggest contract of the bunch.

They've got George and Peterson. How does Brown make sense for them?

Are you thinking the combo of George-Peterson-Brown-Markannan-Kessler would be a contender? Or rather, are you thinking the Jazz think that team could contend?

I went with Sengun because of his passing.  I think he'd be able to play well with Tatum and as the main focal point (at least better than anyone else).
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

(1) Mobley - best combo of speed, mobility, defense, offense

(2) Clingan - defense, rebounding, some offense
(3) Sengun - offensive orientated

(4) Duren - most limited skill-set

I think Clingan is better on both ends of the floor. A far more disruptive defensive player due to his superior size (7-2 with length vs 6-10). And more skilled on offense. Clingan has a jump-shot. He can shoot the 3. And he is only going to get better with that offense.

Duren is an outstanding rebounder but Clingan is even better which is crazy to think because Duren is an awesome rebounder. Clingan's offensive rebounding is incredible.

Duren gets too much credit for his defense. It is DET's perimeter guys that are driving that strong defense. Not him. He is a passenger in that defense. Not a driver. He is a solid defender but nothing special.

Mobley is a safer bet than Clingan. They are the only two young bigs that are worth it. Sengun is mediocre, and Duren gives you 4th or 5th option at 2nd option price
