Trade idea. Would you do this trade? I think the Spurs need true veteran leadership.
Spurs receive Jaylen Brown.
Celtics receive: Harper, Harrison Barnes, Keldon Johnson (or Devin Vassell), the 2027 Unprotected First-Round Pick, and a 2029 First-Round Pick.
I think the Celtics need a good Point Guard.
You would still have to find a big, but you do get a young future all star.

I would trade Jaylen for Dylan Harper. I love his game.

That said, I don't think San Antonio would. San Antonio have a 10-15 year dynasty on their hands with Wemby, S Castle, D Harper. I think all 3 of those dudes are untouchable. Giving any one of them up for a 29yo player like Jaylen would be madness.

The Spurs wouldn't even trade Harper straight up for Brown let alone including anything else of value.

This board has significantly overrated Brown's value.  He doesn't have a ton of it, which is why they couldnt find a 3rd team in the Giannis trades.
