Everyone knows the Jazz want AJ so if they can make the trade and pull off  a Brown trade from  the Celtics.  I think something like this could work for both team's.  Boston needs bigs and a young Athletic Guard.

Utah needs a leader and a top wing player in the world.

Does this work for both teams?

It's a pretty cool mix of vets and young guys for both teams. I'd say Jazz clearly win because Pritchard and Brown are battle tested proven vets while Cs are banking of future growth. C's would probably also need picks.

That Utah team would be a lotta fun.

I love the defense of Kessler, JJJ and Jaylen. Dybantsa should help in time too. Pritchard the only true ball-handler. It will be interesting to find out how much Dybantsa is a playmaker vs scorer. 3 good scorers 2-4. A role player scorer in Pritchard. Garbage man in Kessler. Nice offensive mix.

I don't think Ace Bailey is good enough to start. He would battling Hugo & Jordan Walsh for bench minutes. Ace is a good prospect but he is a bad player in the here and now. He has a lot of work ahead of him.

Edit ... I forgot Keyonte George was in the deal. Need to start over. Okay. Deleted most of that initial post.

---------------

G: Keyonte George, (D White)
G: D White, Baylor
F: Tatum, Ace Bailey
F: Markkanen, Hugo / J Walsh
C: Queta, Filipowski

Yeah, I think that maintains the present day standards of the where the Celtics would be if they kept Jaylen & Pritchard while also offering long term upside in Keyonte, Ace Bailey & Filipowski.

I'd do that deal.

My guess is that Utah would refuse to include Ace Bailey & Filipowski in that deal. I would expect the deal to become a two player for two player swap instead.

Markkanen & K George for Jaylen & Pritchard

Utah are giving up 2 star talents for 1 star talent and a role player. I don't see any need for them to give up more talent beyond this.

Even at this point, Utah may not do it. Although the new balance of their team would be awesome with Jaylen a true wing instead of the two PFs at forward. So maybe they consider it.

Utah may ask for draft capital from BOS given the 2 for 1 star exchange. That Pritchard would not be enough to balance the scales.

I would make that trade in a heartbeat. I don?t think Danny would, though. Markkanen averaged 27pts/7rebs/2ast. Keyonte is only 22 years old and he averaged 24pts/6ast/4rebs. Those two alone are worth more than Brown and Pritchard. Boston would have to give up other assets.

Also, Dybastana is going #1 so Utah would have Peterson at the 2 and JB at the 3.

So Utah starting 5: Pritchard, Peterson, Brown, JJJ, Kessler.

Celtics starting 5: George, White, Tatum, Markkanen, Queta.

I like it for both sides.

I am not entirely clear on what the trade is.  If it is:

Markkanen, Bailey, George, and Filipowski
for
Brown, Pritchard

I think you probably need to take out one of the players to make this work for UTA, probably Bailey.  Then if UTA would do that, I guess it works for both teams but I would prefer to keep Brown and Pritchard.

But how about getting back to the MIL/Giannis idea:

To MIL:   Markkanen, Bailey, UTA first (maybe 2), BOS first
To UTA:   Brown
To BOS   Giannis

or

To MIL:   Markkanen, Bailey, UTA first (maybe 2), BOS first
To UTA:   Brown, Hauser
To BOS   Giannis, Portis

Markkanen turned 29 a few weeks ago, so he is not a young star player like Jalen Johnson, Paolo Banchero, Sengun, etc that Milwaukee would want along with the first round picks.

Also, Dybastana is going #1 so Utah would have Peterson at the 2 and JB at the 3.

So Utah starting 5: Pritchard, Peterson, Brown, JJJ, Kessler.

Which also would be awesome. If Peterson is the real deal, I like his fit on this team better than Dybantsa. Gives them another ball-handler and passer in the backcourt. A superior shooter. More spaced out offense. That could be beautiful.

--------

If I were Utah I'd be trying to trade Markkanen or JJJ for Jaylen. Then have Keyonte, Jaylen and D Peterson as my perimeter trio alongside the remaining player (one of) Markkanen / JJJ and Kessler as my bigs. Ace Bailey & Filipowski off the bench. That would be a fantastic fitting starting 5.

Ace Bailey might be the best young talent being offered to MIL.

I wonder if Giannis would go to Utah. That could be an interesting move for them.

So who trades for Tatum when he demands a trade?   No where near enough for Brown when the Celtics want to win.   At this point, stat hangers on a bad team.

Unless it is for Giannis or Brown demands a trade, Brown is not being traded.
