I see no need for Beal. Even if a trade opens up a roster spot, I have no interest in Beal.

Miami haven't been that interested in Beal thus far --- which is strange to me given how desperate they are for shot creation from the perimeter.

Barely lukewarm interest.

It wouldn't be hard to beat Miami to Beal.

That could be because Beal's asking price was initially over the minimum.  It wouldn't shock me to see them revisit him now that it is clear that he has no market.

doesn't seem to have much if anything left in the tank.  Would be like signing another Mike Conley.  no need to use up another roster spot on player you'd only use when you have no other option

It's hard to say.  He looked fine in PHX, he was just asked to do too much.  He struggled for six games in LA before getting hurt.

If the Celtics cared about contending, I could see taking a flyer on Beal.  But, the Celts punted on being a contender, so what would be the point?

He would be a fun late career addition.  Bench microwave if he can accept that role.  Spot starter.  Let?s get old!

Conley / White / Beal / George

We would just need a center.  What's Robert Parish up to these days?

Also, it's striking that White is only 369 days younger than Beal.

The Miami Heat posted a link to a scheduled live stream titled "LeBron James Introductory Press Conference" followed by the date July 27 to its YouTube channel in what a team spokesperson said was a mistake.

The spokesperson told ESPN's Shams Charania on Tuesday that the club's social media department was preparing for the possibility of James' signing and mistakenly posted the link to the team's YouTube page. The post was later deleted.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

The Memphis Grizzlies and veteran guard D'Angelo Russell are expected to work towards parting ways - either via buyout or trade - this offseason, sources tell @YahooSports.
