They were talking on weei today about some speculation from Jeff Goodman  that LeBron might sign a vet min contract to join up with Tatum and Giannis to try and match Jordan's 6 titles.

I can't imagine this would ever happen, but we could pretty easily at least offer the NTMLE. Lebron should get well above that, never mind the vet minimum.

I do not see this as unrealistic.  BOS would have to pull off the Giannis trade, which is no given, but if that happened, why would not BOS be a desirable destination for LeBron?

I'm not a Lebron guy, but you have to say yes to him on the minimum. He could be half the player he was this year and be worth more than the minimum.

It won't happen though. As echoed above, he hates Boston.

Lebron had a racial slur painted on his house in LA when he was still with the Cavs.  It didn't stop him from joining the Lakers.  I think a lot of what he has said is rivalry stuff.  Not sure it would really stop him from joining the Celtics.  I don't think he will for a whole host of reasons, but I think his prior comments about Boston would be so far down the list of reasons, it isn't worth discussing.

I mean, nobody would have imagined we would ever get Shaq, and Lebron is certainly far less washed up than 2011 Shaq. He still is a high level borderline all star player next year. I would do it. I kinda got over my Lebron hatred the last few years. I guess we would need to sign Bronny too to make it work.
