This just feels like a reporter guessing, almost like all the recent years too especially around 2021 and 2022 in the offseason or in-season and during the Durant rumors

Why is he guessing? Do it seem to you that Brown would perfer to have is own team where he is the number one option ? And that other agents would have heard this? You don?t think informed people in the NBA hear this ? Just as an example someone like Rich Paul ? Not him obviously but you see what I?m saying ?

Then they tell a reporter? Happens all the time.

You asking all these questions kind of proves the point lol, no one truly knows and everyone is just saying stuff or "what they hear". Btw, a lot of this same stuff was said between 2021-2023, especially after the 2023 Game 7 ECF. Jaylen was still here after that. And with respect to Thorpe, I need to hear someone like Shams or Stein report this too before I take it seriously.

But you?re missing my point. The more smoke and the more people saying there are issues the more plausible it is the they are done together. Some of us choose to connect the dots. Other don?t. And a lot had changed since 2021 and 2023. Brown didn?t let the world know verbatim that he just had his most fun season without Tatum. Again you can choose to not connect it. But to say. Ah he?s just making it up is whistling past it .

I mean we'll see. I also have no clue how it will end up. I just also think him saying it after Game 1 is a bit weird timing as @keevsnick kind of alluded to earlier. People have been saying this for YEARS, even after 2024 wondering if Jaylen would now want his own team after accomplishing a title. I guess I got to see it, or see that Shams tweet before I truly believe it.

I understand.  But we could be at the point where it?s time. JB can get an extension this summer if I?m not mistaken. So we will see.

Isn't he signed for 3 more years?

Management needs to trade this player (brown) posters and media gas bags act as if this guy is second coming of Air Jordan..

My team, needs his own team, first team who gives a flying ###
Had his chance last post season to be the guy and again this playoff season game 7, bust!

Overrated and overpaid big time!
Time to go
