More and more smoke about JB being unhappy in Boston/2nd fiddle to the clearly superior JT, and he?s not exactly denying it with how he?s talking. And this is coming from TMac a Broeb apologist.

I do think a divorce may be coming, and I?m fine with it. I?m not sure JB can ever go back to the way things were before.

It all depends on whether there's truth to this or not. If he really is unhappy, then a trade is probably best for all involved. I feel like JB has always been willing to sacrifice, he's said that many times, even as late as when JT was returning and scuffling and he made a point to get him more involved, because he knows he's not winning a championship by himself, its always a team effort. So I don't agree with people saying he's selfish, or that he can't play within himself for the good of the team. He's done it for 10 years, to suggest otherwise is just being petty and playing player favorites.

But...being willing to do something and being happy about it are two separate things. It may be that he's won a championship here and wants the chance to do so as the No1 guy. If so, and he would be willing to sacrifice here but would have the chance to shine somewhere else, I would thank him for the 10 awesome years he gave us and see if we can find the best return for him while trying to find him a place where he can shine.

I promise there is truth to it

Wow. Will be interesting to see if JB comes out and denies it or not.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Brad was asked about the Tmac comments and said JB has not expressed that to him...Brad said his door is open and JB can come and talk.

So it seems JB is doing his complaining via his proxies in the media.

maybe not literally to him, but Brad is in most of the same circles i'm in, he knows whats going on. I'm sure he hopes he can resolve it. although I trust in Brad, i'm not confident.

And knowing Brad, I?m guessing he?s hoping for the best but planning for the worst and he?s already developed a plan with his staff to move JB if it becomes necessary.

So moving on from JB if it comes to that might be pretty easy for Brad?

Honestly, I?m just ready to move on from the JB experience. We had a good run, he got a title and a (questionable) ECF and Finals MVP acknowledgement, and he cemented himself as a top 10-15 player in the league.

But I think we just want different things at this time. He?ll always view himself as the number 1 and believes he deserves it as much as Tatum, and there?s just nothing to really support that.

We need to take advantage of this moment when an all-time player like Giannis is available and strike while the iron is hot.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

EDIT: Nevermind - back on the Fire Joe Train!

If we?re talking emotionally I think Brad has proven to be pretty cold blooded when it comes to the roster. In terms of getting a good return, I think he?s also shown he?s not driven by desperation or player pressure, he will make sure he gets the best deal but he will also try and do the right thing by the player. The best trades are where it?s a win win for everyone.

I had said this a little while back and everything that is coming out since seems to confirm this.  Brown appears to be looking to be traded.  He believes that he can be the #1 guy.  He believes that he has been sacrificing for the good of the team, prior to this season.

I like Brown, I think he is a great player, maybe not quite as good as he seems to think he is, but he is a very good player.  He is coming off his best statistical season, his value should be high.  No reason not to test his trade market.

As to the Celtics, I suspect that they don't want to trade him, that they prefer to keep him, at least at this point still.  It can be tough, but not impossible, to trade a guy like Brown and get full value back.

If the JB wants to go, hope he gets it done. Will never be a better time to move on. Stock is at an all time high.
