Pp.          Pp
White.      Schiermen
Tatum.      Hugo
Giannis.     Walsh
Queta.       Garza

Plus draft picks and vet min

Fixes our size, rebounding and rim defense. Giannis is better play maker and low post presence.

While MIL doesn?t have control of their picks and should want to kind-of compete, I have no idea why in the world they would choose an aging Brown over the myriad of other options they?ll have on the table.

But, yeah, of course. That would be incredible

Not sure a poll is necessary. Giannis is on a completely different level. It?s not a good trade for Milwaukee, but probably the best they can do.

Could easily get a 3rd team involved sending brown to them and prospects and picks yo Milwaukee..

In a heartbeat and I would do that deal everyday all 7 days a week.

Giannis = proven winner and wants to compete and plays hard night in and out
Brown = fraud, collapses when the going gets tough.

Has anyone thought about a Giannis for Tatum trade ?

I realize Tatum is our golden boy Celtic and it would be gut-wrenching to trade someone who has been a great player and a perfect Celtic. But I watch him stop ball movement in the half-court so often along with the over-dribbling step-back 3's and I wonder if a Brown/ Giannis tandem would not be a more active and aggressive pair that would greatly improve the offense. Of course, you would also need to replace Mazzulla with a coach that brought more than a one-dimensional offensive scheme to make it work.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett - Tatum

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce - Brown

Tatum is a much better player than Brown. I would basically only give up Tatum for Wemby

Agreed. Plus the bucks won't take JB for Gianis. I'll trade JT for Gianis too.

Keep Joe based on Gianis endorsement.

Have you watched any of the postseason?  Brown is the ball stopper. He also has more turnovers than assists. JT is the only starter with a positive net rating. But sure, Let?s trade Tatum.   :P

Giannis would be on the bench with a calf injury.

I'm open to trading Brown if the player is right, I'm just not sure Giannis is the right guy. For someone as good as he is supposed to be the Bucks haven't down anything in the playoffs since their title run, he's been increasingly injured and has always been really reliant on athleticism which worries me as he ages. Him being on your team forces you to play a very specific type of basketball.

The Celtics would need to find a shooting center since Giannis needs a shooting big next to him to really work. Then Tatum would need to commit to playing off ball a lot more since Giannis has never been as good an off ball player as you'd think.

But also: Why would the Bucks do this? If they are trading Giannis it's because there chances on competing in the near future are about 0%. So why would the primary piece you get back be a 30 year old and picks that frankly will not be good? Unless its a three team deal where brown goes elsewhere for assets I don't see how this makes any sense.

I've been up and down about this idea, but that has all changed now.  At this point I am a 100% yes on this.

I'm sick to death of this team digging itself into holes by chucking threes, and then trying to dig it's way back out of those holes by chucking more threes.

We desperately need someone who can generate offensive inside 10 feet and who isn't going to revert back to being a 3 point chucking mess when things get difficult.

Even if we somehow win this series, this method of play is not sustainable.  You might scrape by the odd first or second round series, but you're not getting any further.  To win a title you need to be able to perform consistently, and it not possible to be consistent when you team depends entirely on making threes for it's success.

Giannis would be the Center. Starting lineup: Pritchard, White, Hauser, Tatum, Giannis.

The Bucks would do this because they aren?t getting a better player for Giannis. They can flip Brown to a team like Atlanta for a player like Jalen Johnson, salary filler and a boat load of picks.

Yea I guess it makes more sense to use Giannis at center.
Can you imagine a Giannis Pp/Tatum pick and roll. It would be unstoppable..

But I would still want to find an upgrade over hauser, maybe scheierman or Hugo could make a big leap next year.

Pp
White
Hugo
Tatum
Guannis

Have the ability to go ultra big with Giannis Queta and Tatum

Double big with Giannis or Tatum  with Queta

Or original fast pace offense with Giannis at center and Tatum at pf.
