Mazzulla needs to legitimately consider keeping Jaylen on the bench most of the 2nd half

Ultimately, considering they fell behind 13 and looked mega-toast early, it's impressive they got back in the game and are close at halftime.

It's gonna come down to making the 3s and defense. But whoever comes out with a run might take it, so BOS better lock in.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
how are we still in this game without JT?

Derrick White finally came to play. I wish we had this White in one of our losses.

Why?  I think he's been good this game.

The massive swings in the game's momentum when he went out AND when coming back in suggest otherwise - as well as the -19 in a -5 point game.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Not only that. They are going small and it's mostly working even despite Embiid being gifted FTs every time. Imagine if they utilized Tatum at center more and ran smallball. Maybe the series is already over

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Gotta figure out the defense. Embiid is going to shoot as many FTs as he wants. Refs going to give him the whistle

I?m just so relieved they didn?t get run off the floor!

Missing a whole lot of hoops at the rim, but the energy is where it needs to be.
Yup

I don't mind a 2 for 1 but why is Brown trying to dunk on Embiid? He won't get a call there and that is just dumb.

*Celtics shoot a three*
Fans: The Celtics shoot too many threes.
*Celtics drive to the rim*
Fans: Why would you drive to the rim?

Guys, its okay to try and make a play. Sometimes the opponent will make a better play like Embiid did there. We don't have to judge every play by its outcome its fine to try and get a dunk on a 2 for 1.

Be nice if JB played team ball in the most important moments. That dunk attempt was just hero ball.

Great effort by the team. Can't be more proud. Philly has more talent atm. Vuč is usless. Bad trade.

Yeah, he?s been awful. Team was playing well until he came back in.

I have a feeling vuc is going to be a DNP ? CD
Yeah. Strange to see Vuc not even get a look with how bad Garza has been.
