That would be my 5 with Harper Walsh, Sam, Hugo, Vuc, Garza off the bench

Get out and run their asses into the ground.

Welp - there go my expectations for tonight. What a freaking bummer for Tatum.

Interestingly, though, they?re saying ?left knee stiffness?, so it?s not actually the calf?

Correct. Knee stiffness. So most likely the last 2 seasons now Tatum is in street clothes when the Cs get bounced.

Afraid tonight is going to look a lot like the Heat Game 7 where JT was hurt and JB was absolutely dreadful going 8-23 and 1-9 from three.

What they need is the performance they got last year from PP, JB and White in game 5 vs the Knicks. But that is a lot to ask because JB and White have looked really bad this series.

TD Garden has witnessed 5 straight losses in a row between the Bruins and Celtics combined. That's just ridiculous

One week ago tomorrow the Cs were up 3-1 coming home for game 5 and a certain to move on. Now JT is hurt, the sixers found themselves and the Cs are in trouble. SMH.

I have been wondering if Jaylen is playing through an injury. If that is why he has been struggling in some of these recent games.

I always get worried when I see JB doesn't get rebounds. Only 1 rebound in the last game. Only 2 assists. When he is hurt / more limited due to injury, it can often be the non-scoring contributions that fall off more so than the scoring.

Sixers have done a good job not letting him get to his spots. This is where we see the arm bars for offensive fouls and him trying to go 1 on 3 like a bull in a china shop. He just does not even look for teammates.

I think his lack of rebounding and assists are more he is frustrated because he doesn't get calls. He just morphs into hero ball.

Scal interviewing Reggie Miller before the game for NBC sports Boston? Reggie says he doesn?t think the Celtics are playing bad they?re just missing shots. He thinks it?s an issue of execution not schematic.

Of course, we will all disagree with him :police:

Jaylen = 147pts on 116 FGA + 40 FTA (20 poss) + 22 turnovers. So a 147pts on 158 possessions for a mark of 0.93 points per posssession.

The rest of the Celtics minus Jaylen have 499pts on 406 FGA + 84 FTA (42 poss) + 56 turnovers. Wow, Jaylen has more than 25% of the team's turnovers by himself. Anyway, that is 499pts on 504 poss for a mark of 0.99 points pre possession.

The 76ers as a team have 617pts on 514 FGA + 116 FTA (58 poss) + 66 turnovers. So 617pts on 638 poss for a mark of 0.967 points per possession.

So Jaylen is scoring less efficiently than both his teammates and the opposition in this series.

Celtics have still outscored Philly by 30pts in the series. Big margin. 646pts to 617pts.

This is where he, and they, have to really be focused and take the referees out of the equation. Yes, it?s annoying. Seeing Embiid get calls all the time. Get over it and play to the whistle. Expect not to get calls and you won?t get disappointed. Fans are allowed to stew and mope about bad calls players have to focus on the next play.

I agree with that although I do feel it is a talent issue with the young wings. Still not coaching though. Neither coaching.

I do blame the coaching for not involving Vucevic more in the offense. Short of that I don't think coaching has played much of a role in this series. It has been about player performances. Some of it just bad luck (shooting) and some lack of skill / experience (young wings / Queta).
