Jaylen said he was still haunted by Game 7 of the 2023 ECF when JT went down, and wanted to make amends from that nightmarish night. Well, he has his chance tonight

This is actually a good thing. And I know how that looks. But Now they can go back to way they played all year long, moving the ball everybody contributing. Now Joe has to use his bench. And they will step up. I?ve changed my pick. Celtics win tonight.

I hope you are right. You really think Joe is going to extend his bench? Not a chance. All this means is JB can play hero ball and shoot the Cs out of the game. White is missing. Sam is unplayable.

So now we have to count on Baylor, Hugo, Walsh? Those guys can't carry the load.

Well if Brown lays another stinker then I think his future here may be in doubt. The conversation will at the very least be had.

Agree. Part of me hopes tonight is his last game in Boston. Lose this series and Brad needs to make major changes to a roster that cannot get it done anymore. He would be the biggest piece to move.

There?s also a good argument to be had that we wouldn?t even be in this position without Brown playing like he did all season. I?m not prepared to discard him on the basis of two bad games. He seems to be the fall guy for the team though.

JB was an NBA Final MVP and has shown that he could lead a less talented Celtics team to the playoff this season. He has added the midrange jumper to his arsenal. He keeps improving (except for the turnover department).

I'd rather trade Tatum for Gianis. We'll have the alpha male who doesn't rely oon shooting 3pt 50% of his shots so we'll always have a backup plan once the 3s don't fall.  He also rebounds as good as Tatum does.

Keep the team intact if we win it all, but really go hard to get Gianis, otherwise. This opportunity may only knock once.

Except JB has been trash this whole series and Tatum has been playing well. Playoffs are all that matter. Hopefully Brown steps it up tonight.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I respect what Jaylen did in the regular season and he did have an MVP-caliber season, that's true. But yeah, I think this playoff round again exposed it. He's not better than Tatum and can't be the alpha on a championship team. The numbers may look solid but he's a -22 so far tonight and he's not really making an impact for the others.

The turning point of the series was game 5 when Embid came back with impressive performance. It reenergized the Sixers and showed our weakness in the middle on top of a  weakness revelation of the Celts' PG.
So. I really never thought of the Celts coming back especially with JT's recent health issue.
