I believe the fanbase will either be jumping for joy for a C's blowout because they found the range from 3 or they'll be carrying torches and pitchforks for Joe and the team for blowing a 3-1 lead

Wait - a calf injury for Tatum? Which leg? Agreed 100% that if it's the right leg just sit him.

I don?t know if it?s a confirmed calf injury but his ?non injured? leg was bothering him. Maybe it was compensating too much for the injured achilles?

Jayson Tatum said his leg "just was a little stiff when I came out third quarter."

Seems like it was just speculation. I've seen no actual let alone credible reporting of a possible injury.

I'm guessing we still win in game 7. JB is due for a bounce back game, and White actually seemed to get some stuff going. But you do have to feel much less confident about this team after these past few games.

That said, Embiid is a particularly poor matchup for us - as Jokic would also be - but there's not really another matchup problem as poor for us in the East in terms of the bigs. We can manage KAT and take more advantage of him on the other end - though we absolutely should be doing more of that against Embiid, too.

Maxey is also a problem that we don't have much of an answer for.

Win or lose, the Knicks will win the East.
We just don't have it. I don't see it. DWhite is not a true PG. He really can't dictate our team's tempo

Jayson Tatum says his stiff leg was his left leg, not the one he underwent Achilles surgery on. He expects to play Game 7.

Yeah idk, I would sit Tatum, but it seems he made up his mind

@Jpotter33, it's his other leg, not the one he tore last year

Edit: Oh that's weird, you commented and posted that but for some reason I couldn't see the reply despite refreshing  :P

I believe in this team.  I'm legitimately confused about the dunk they're in right now.

I do believe.  Less than I did a couple of days ago, but I believe.  I actually hope the bench guys found a little confidence and earned Joe?s trust in the 4th tonight. The Sixers go with virtually a 6-man rotation.  It is game 7 of that.  We should send 10 or 11 guys at them and just run them into the ground.  Tell Queta he is only playing 20 minutes, don?t worry about fouls.  Just energy and care-free basketball, like we have been at our best this season.

If I still see White and Hauser in the starting lineup then it's ballgame.

Walsh needs to start in place of Hauser. Pritchard should also be going in front of White.

Agree on Walsh for Hauser.  Disagree on Pritchard for White.  Tatum was totally ignoring Pritchard when they were playing together in the first half.  Would rather Pritchard only play with one of the two Js if they are just going to ISO the entire time.  Otherwise it?s a waste.

Unfortunately, it's also going to be a waste to see the same White playing that we've seen all season long. Just subpar performance. At this point, just change things up. Hopefully it throws them off

Agreed on (1) Keeping D White in the starting lineup (2) Dropping Hauser but I don't want Jordan Walsh. I want someone who will give more offense rather than defense. So Baylor or Pritchard as Hauser's replacement is my preference.

I definitely still believe. We suffered two meltdowns but so did they. It?s the playoffs, better teams than us have been pushed to a  game 7. And Philly are a much better team than some overconfidence Celtics fans have given them credit for, at least this iteration of them. They?ve just been injury ravaged the last couple of years. This victory has to be earned, they?re not just gonna roll over and give it to us.

I do think we need less Vucevic and more Garza though. Vuc seems to have lost all confidence to shoot. I know he will be crucified for missing, but if he doesn?t even shoot, there?s no incentive for Embiid to come out to guard at the perimeter, he can stay in drop coverage all day.

We need to make Embiid work more defensively. Garza is not afraid to shoot at least. I feel like vuc is too scared to be blamed for missing shots (if he is, he should get a thicker skin) and so he?s always passing it at the perimeter and his threat as a stretch big is negated and so Embiid gets to stay in the paint and clog it up. And Garza  can?t be any worse than Vuc is against Embiid derfensively.

Speaking of which,it?s Embiids presence that has changed the complexion of the series. We just have no way of guarding him without fouling. Q is scared to touch him for fear of being called for a foul. So they send help as soon as he gets the ball and the Sixers with PG13, Maxey and VJ and Grimes have made us pay. There?s no easy way to solve that, but we must simply have to be better at our closeouts if we?re going to keep sending help. and we have to make this guy work defensively.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D
