This team is better when they drive and set up the 3

But JT snd JB want to play get mine offense and hero ball. Zero ball movement at all.

It is like JT and JB are in a competition with each other and it is hurting the team.

Had to leave for dinner and drinks, checked the score looks like we unraveled in the 2nd quarter? Any updates?

(other than we sucked balls, I knew that already  :police:)
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Whats wild in a bad way, is our old Pierce lead Celtics had a few turds in first three quarters but Pierce pulled miracle comebacks yet Joe had zero confidence to even try to see if one of two stars could figure it out. Complete disgrace of a performance.

Jaylen is 7-17 FGA which isn't too bad. 18pts.

But he is 2-6 on FTAs (3 more possesions) and has 5 turnovers (another 5 possesions). So 18pts on 25 possessions. Bad return.

Only 1 rebound. 2 assists. 0 steals 0 blocks.

The rest of the team.

The centers

* L Garza had a productive 9min with 7pts
* Queta has 4pts in 20min
* Vooch has 2pts in 14min on 1-5 FGA

The perimeter guys

* Hauser only 5pts in 20min
* Baylor 2pts in 10min
* J Walsh 0pts in 15min
* R Harper Jr 3pts in 6min

10pts in 51min from these 4 guys.

Those perimeter guys, the role players, have to knock down some shots to help spread the floor for Tatum & Jaylen. Another no-show from this group of players.
the primary perimeter guys, White and PP, are missing from your critique.  they need to contribute a lot more than they have tonight.

Harper Jr has committed two solid hard fouls against their stars. Give him some minutes in Game 7.

The Jays tend to choke in game 7. Joe must play the trio of Baylor, Walsh, PP more and be the important piece of the gameplan.

Where do you get that from?  Tatum has historically had big games in closeout situations.  This has been his weakest game of the series and even tonight he's been the best player on the team.

Problem is that others aren't helping.

I can't criticise Pritchard really.  He's not a superstar so I don't expect him to have big offensive nights every night - I can forgive him having one or two off nights.

I feel like there have been three HUGE factors screwing with this team in this series:
1. JB's aweful free throw shooting
2. Queta's complete inability to stay on the court
3. White's completely disappearance offensively

Queta and White in particular are huge.  They are two of the biggest reasons why this team overachieved so much this year, and with them being pretty much non-factors for this series it's a massive hit to the team.

we need a Mchale-Rambis moment to wake this team up

Part of the problem is the Jays haven?t really been looking to pass the last 2 games. Too much hero ball if i may say.

Walsh, Baylor and PP plays very well together, the ball movement was there. When playing  separately they're forgotten (except PP).

Really? They didn?t even deserve the opportunity?he deserves all sorts of criticism but they didn?t deserve to play

Mazzulla needs to grow some stones and play the bench guys more, like he did in the regular season yet is stubborn about this round despite White sucking so badly

3 losses in this series where the Cs fail to get to 100 points. Offense has disappeared because the 3s are not falling.
