10 points in the fourth quarter so far for Boston. How does that happen.

Ask Joe.  Ask him also how a team this talented fails to score 100 points in two games against an inferior opponent.

The answer isn't that difficult though.  It's the brand of basketball he's instilled into this team that got more extreme after we won the title.  Our team isn't as talented as that one, and we can't just pray for our 3's to fall every night.  And his ATO plays remain complete garbage.  Actually that one for Tatum cutting to the basket wasn't bad, but Tatum didn't even hit the rim on the attempt.

we won in spite of joe. time to cut him loose. last year wa sa fireable offense choking away two huge leads in 2 games at home

i told peope i was fine if we canned joe after 2024 because we could see the issues.

we did not win because of him
FIRE JOE NOW!

I've seen this movie before.  In 2025 against the New York Knicks.

This team isn't a true contender.  We're not winning anything.  The East is weak, but we still underperform way below our talent level against inferior competition.  Even if we make the Finals, OKC beats the Celtics in 5.  The only way that doesn't happen is if White wakes the hell up and Tatum and Brown play more consistently.

Couldn?t have said it better myself?sadly I don?t see white snapping out of whatever funk he?s in and clearly the jays aren?t going to be more consistent? I expect them to win this series but with the way they?re playing wouldn?t shock me if they choked it away. They aren?t that good. Forget OKC I give them little to no chance against the knicks

The outlier in 2024 just say it how it is...we lucked out with the East badly being banged up and getting to face Dallas instead of Denver.

Other than that, guys are just the same. Nothing's changed

This game made me want to bang my head on the wall. JB had a terrible game, DWhite a no show per usual, Joe not giving guys who earned minutes any time on the court. Whole team couldnt hit their free throws. Nothing went right

Im expecting a better performance in hame 6

Joe not trying different guys when white and vuc are giving giving you nothing is what lost the game.

I dont think our effort was bad like some, just a combo of dogma and Philly hitting a number of 3s that turned it

I'm not worried about this series, BUT I am definitely worried about the next one. Because the way they are playing, NY will probably beat them again in 5 or 6 and it won't necessarily be because the Knicks are a superior roster/team.

The Celtics will win game 6.  We play better on the road anyway.

At this point our home struggles are primarily on JB and JT.  It's been a trend for years now.

And I changed my mind - I'd have pegged the C's to beat NYK this year, but after watching our execution and just inexplicably bad stretches of basketball I think NYK beats us in 6 again.

The team and Mazzulla deserve all the criticism and doubts for the next 48 hours. What a putrid 2nd half at home.

On a night when the #1 need for the Celtics was energy and focus, what does Joe do ?

He plays Brown and Tatum into the ground and abandons his bench, which has been the secret weapon of this team all year. They are the reason the Celts did not have the "gap year" that the Pacers suffered through. The bench brought energy and hustle all season and Joe just forgets all that and plays a conventional lineup and the team plays flat and have, once more, extended a playoff series they needed to close out early ..................... at home no less. The man has no feel for the game.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett - Tatum

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce - Brown

A team this talented? Where?s the talent? Outside of an inconsistent Tatum and brown they really have?nothing

Hard to win when two of your best players are no shows tonight and one has been a no show the entire series.

Sixers have the blueprint to beat Boston now. Celtics just opened the door for them.

You mean no show for the entire season? If we are depending on supposedly the third best player on this team to show up then I have really bad news...he looks worse than Garza or Baylor. Tell White to sit on the bench

Where's Ime Udoka when you need him calling out this soft excuse of a team. Get blown out b2b home playoff games to an inferior team. Inexcusable.

He?s losing to a Laker team missing Luka and AR.

only 3 bucket in the last quarter for the C's.  2 from Hauser and 1 from Q.   J's a big 0-fer.  inexcusable

3-22 in the 4th quarterte, 2 from Hauser and 1 from Neemi. JB 0-6, Tatum 0-2, White 0-2

Embiid is going to be an issue We have to solve next game because In the second half he stopped shooting threes and started to post up and with Q in foul trouble we just can?t defend him

Agree with all you said but I think Philly wins game 6 wire to wire. They are due for a home win.

You sure the 76ers will lose 3 in a row at home? That would be insane

Someone on Twitter said if Embiid was out there from Game 1, PHI would be up 3-2. Honestly, they are probably right. Our frontcourt looks toast and Queta can't stop fouling. It's not just the refs against him, Queta is actually committing some dumb fouls in the pace of play.

I guess some of this could be offset by other things but when White is shooting poorly too, it just makes it look worse overall.
