Can not let up. I think they know this. Seems obvious. But you have to do it.

I think this is a different Celtics team.  Don't think they're gonna play with their food.

I sure hope not.  Mazzulla has had the team laser focused all season.  This team should remember what can happen if you let your guard down in the playoffs.  But overall, I agree, I don't expect Mazzulla or Tatum or Brown to let that happen.  Play every possession like it is the last possession.  Don't look at the scoreboard until the game is over.

Let's GO Celts! Don't let up. All business, spread it around and play superior defense.

It would be nice to win this one so i can more easily enjoy the Knicks misfortune. Takes a lot of wind out of my sails if the Celtics are also 1-1.

But also: Its important to wrap up these series as early as possible. The quicker it goes the less chance for injury and the more rest you get between series.

My only worry would be the team sees their 32-point win Sunday and just falls asleep thinking they can take it even if they play around 60-70%. That has burned them in the past, even the 2023 series against the Embiid/Harden Sixers where they ended up splitting the first two, went down 3-2 in the series and went a full 7 games when they really shouldn't have. And they had a blowout win early that series but then played with their food a bit.

Idk, they got rid of Smart but the Jays are still here with that mindset of getting complacent. This also happened in their 2024 championship run in Game 2s against Miami and Cleveland; no business losing to them at home. It's usually the home playoff games that the C's are butts in while being monsters on the road.

Doesn?t appear to be the MO of this current team. Will see.

Trying to find where the game is broadcast tonight so I can record.  Can?t find it. NBC shows nothing at 7pm and the Portland game at 8.  I don?t get peacock so where I can watch?

Btw also looked at NBCSB and shows pregame but not game.

NM - found it. If anyone else is having trouble it?ll be on NBCSN (as FLCfan said) - that?s channel 1211 on my Xfinity lineup.

Good thing I have Peacock because Verizon FiOS doesn?t have NBCSN. It really blows that they took it from NBC Sports Boston but put it on a streaming service and on a channel that Fios subscribers, don?t have  :-\
