If you could go back in time and grab a former Celtics player to play them with this Celtics team in the playoffs, who would it be?

Shaq

Sorry, I am not sure if I made clear the function of the concept. In this scenario, Shaq would be 2010 version of himself.

Again sorry for not explaining correctly.

Edit: egg on my face i didn't read the prompt.

I assume the implication is a celtics player stuck in at his prime.

Id take Bill stuck on the 24 squad.

just one?

tough call between Russell to give them interior defense and rebounding or Bird to give them scoring, rebounding and passing.  There's also Mchale for interior defense and scoring -- especially post scoring when they're bricking away from 3

I think Dave Cowens would do brilliantly on this team. MVP 1972-1973 Cowens was immense.

Prichard
White
Brown
Tatum
Cowens
