Well deserved loss.  Our defense wasn't up to par.  Our starters didnt shoot the ball well.

Hard to win without JB and White being MIA.

Boy, we better make adjustments for the 2nd round of the playoffs because it seems the Knicks just have a mental edge over us in a lot of areas

Hart has been killing us all night. And DW is 0/6 from three.

We didn't adjust.  Joe wanted Hart taking the open shots.  He kept the same strategy even though Hart's shooting improved and he was making them tonight.

Yeah, I'm not worried. No Brown and they needed 26 from Hart with 5-7 three point shooting to win, as well as a subpar Tatum and White night.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Call me crazy but I'm not worried about the Knicks.  If we play up to our standards we'll beat them in 6.

I hate to sound like I'm taking credit away from them last year, but honestly we really beat ourselves with a stupid brand of basketball.  Indiana proved the Knicks really weren't that good.

open shots? how about contesting?

garbage coaching by joe again? no adjustment?

I kinda am, because we blew/choked the series last year and these Knicks feel like the Butler Heat teams from 2020-2023 who also had inferior rosters but just seemed to have the mental advantage. They might be our current boogeyman. We didn't have Jaylen tonight and had injuries last year but still, it feels like the Knicks and Brunson are also confident when they play us.

I still expect us to win the series against them in the 2nd round BUT it won't be a cakewalk at all, and maybe even a full 6-7 game series.

I still think we can beat them in a 7 game series. Joe was experimenting a lot this game, most specially leaving Hart open. And we never faced them with both Jays playing this season?

Tatum's shooting 2/10 or 3/10 from 3s will cost us crucial games in the playoff. He's bern playing great on defense but his offense has been a lazy offense so far. In clutch time I'd trust PP or Brown more.

Josh Hart will not do that every night. NYK is good. They took this one.  BOS needs to play/shoot better.

They need to rotate on defense better on the pick and roll.

I would pick the Celtics to win in 6 too. For me it's just this nagging feeling from last year and even seeing how some stretches of today unfolded. Got to get over the hump, and we have our chance against NY in the 2nd round this year again in a rematch

D-White was atrocious. He really needs to play better than that. 2-10 from the field. 0-6 from 3pt. Finished with 8pts/3rebs/1ast in 38 mins. That is not acceptable.
