Calling that push-off an offensive foul in this SGA chicken-wing era we are currently in seems extra weird, but overall a great finish to the quarter!

Excited to have Vucevic back, hope he can get into rhythm ahead of the post-season

Agree, he looks rusty.

Abby is getting the Raptor's players names wrong.

Fortunate we still have a lead.  We're not playing our best ball by a long shot.

I love Abby, but this isn't her skill set.

Definitely not our most crisp game.

I don't understand Joe's decision to sub Vuc in this early.  I'm all for getting him back into rhythm for the playoffs, but this just hasn't been his night.  His presence has only hurt us so far this game.

13 turnovers and shooting 24% from 3...like I said earlier, not a good combination.

Kinda crazy we're still up despite shooting 25% from 3 and having 14 turnovers before the 4th

Vuc is a real liability on the defensive end, he?s not gonna be getting a lot of time in the playoffs unless his effort significantly improves (understanding that he?s been out for a few weeks)

I truly don?t understand all the talk surrounding this guy?he?s a horrible basketball player at this point and a liability?.and we spend time talking about him?

I suppose the answer to that is that he's a Celtics player, and this is a Celtics forum, so he will be talked about. Especially since he was our main trade acquisition, it may be that folks less prescient than you might hold views that he might add some kind of value going forward.

The great thing about forums though is nobody is forcing anyone else to talk about a topic they don't find interesting - we can all pick and choose which topics are near and dear to our hearts  :police:

That said, if he plays like this he's probably not going to get much run time in the playoffs. He's a -19 and Q is a +21.

I'm guessing that Joe is ok with losing this game in order to get more data points on whether Vuc can be of value in the playoffs. As fans we all want to win every game we watch, especially against a team that we might end up meeting in the first round, but better find out now than then and all that.

Yeah I agree.  He's tinkering a bit, trying different lineups.

agreed unfortunately.  would prefer a win to get closer to securing the #2 seed over getting Vuc playing time.

Yeah there'll be plenty of time for Vucevic to get used to being on the court in the final few games when I imagine they'll rest guys. But also, I wonder if it's to get him acclimated with Tatum since those two have barely played with each other
