Magic number for the 2 seed is 3. So if the C's finish the year 3-2, they are the 2 seed. Or if they go 2-3 and NY loses one more. Would ideally like to wrap this up soon so most of our guys can just rest and sit out, we need to not suffer any big injuries right before the playoffs similar to Cade and Luka

Can?t believe the Celtics only took 37 shots from 3pt. What is up with that?  :o

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

At the risk of sounding selfish, those Cade and Luka injuries really suck for the Celtics.

If the Celtics do manage to pull off another championship this year the haters are just goign to go back to the same old "they only won because Cade and Luka were injured" story.  I feel like Tatum and Brown theri entire career have struggled to earn the respect they deserve from the overaall nba community.

Yeah, I'm not gonna lie - I dont think ANY team is looking forward to facing this Celtics squad in a 7 game series.  Not only has the team been winning almost every game since Tatum came back, but I feel like most of them have been double digit wins that really weren't close.  This team has been dominant.

Newsflash: The Jays are really, really good!!!

Now that Jaylen has gonna to the Super Saiyan version of himself and with Jayson deciding he's gonna be a triple double machine, I don't see another team beating them in a 7 game series if the C's stay healthy.

And my word, is there a team with a better 3-7 than the Celtics DWhite, Pritch, Neemie, Vuc and Hauser?

Bucks played zero defense....Of course we looked good....wait until the playoffs start and we see a different opponent....C's will need to try harder.

I was also pleased to see Q (19 pts, 8-11 from the field, 10 reb, 2 ast, 4 blk, 0 turnovers), play all over Myles Turner (4 pts, 1-4 from the field, 1-3 from 3 meaning he only attempted  1 2 pt field goal, 1 reb, 1 turnover). I recall when some people wanted to replace Neemi with Myles by trading Simons for him, despite Myles being paid 10 times more, because Myles was a Big Name and Neemi wasn't and we needed a Big Name in the playoffs. I get it, Myles was probably under orders to play bad because they're tanking, while Neemi has all the motivation in the world, but still  :police:

I feel like Myles is like a four cylinder Mustang - all show and no go, while Neemi is an Audi S4 - looks unassuming but a turbo V6 under the hood

  • Yup
Tatum sure seems to be enjoying the hell out of playing with this group.  The quick decision passing is so great to watch.  He and Queta are making a great big man duo.  On the glass too. He could have had 15 assists last night.
Yup

He has all the talent, but no motor. Just seems to coast out there.

Is he the worst contract in the league now ?   Years ago I was jealous he was on Indy .  But past couple years maybe three , seems he is just picking up a pay check
