At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Great game .

Reminded me of the Really old school up and down the court in the early 1980?s

Race to see who could run up the score before the last buzzer

That Miami defense is 💩

Looks like ours wasn't much better if we let them score 129 but at least our offense didn't let us down  :police:

We decided to pack the paint and let them launch, so it was a weird game where their three-point percentage was substantially higher than their 2-point percentage.  I do not know to what degree that was by design and vs. us not closing out on shooters well.  Certainly some of both.  Miami could not stop us inside or out. They shot over 50% from 3 on high volume, got to the line more,  had few turnovers, but got blown out.  Abhorrent defense.

Yeah, and it wasn't just Miami.  153-131 in the Sixers/Wizards game.  145-126 in Pacers/Bulls.  Three other teams put up 130 points last night.

I greatly enjoyed watching Hauser cook Herro off the bounce several times last night, lol.  He rarely even tries to do that.  Against Herro everything is easy.

Miami shot 24/47 from 3, and still lost by 18 at home. That's absolutely insane.

A few years ago including playoffs we would have lost that by double digits and been asking "omg how did Gabe Vincent and Caleb Martin do that"  :P

Also I'm glad Stevens built the roster and addressed the "zone defense" issues, every time Miami tries to do it now they get burned badly and that's primarily what they got.

Didn?t realize it, but Tatum was one rebound away from tying a career high which is 19 boards in a game. Not bad considering he?s been back less than a month.  :D
