The important thing is that I won my bracket.

Michigan is annihilating Arizona despite their best player (Yaxel Lendenberg) going down with an injury.  Tough to see how they lose on Monday.

They looked like men against boys.
Yup

I needed Arizona to win it and would have taken down a $5 pool with 129 people.  It was a good run.
Yup

I needed Illinois to beat UConn, since my bracket is full of people from Connecticut.  Michigan winning will now leave me in 6th with the top 5 paying.  Alas.

I did get the thrill of being kept alive by the UCONN win ovee Duke. Well worth the $5!

UConn over Duke saved me too, I may have been competing for 2nd place or third place at this point if Duke beated UConn in that game with Michigan getting to the finals.

I?m not sure Mara is going to be effective at the next level. I like Reed for UConn more. Stronger, better athlete. Still has good size st 6?11/265lbs

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Nah, Mara is definitely better.  His hands are elite, and his passing is a plus.

Michigan even teaches the Kornet contest.

He?s not even close to being as good of an athlete as Kornet. Closer to Garza.

Watching him right now. Kornet is a much better athlete.

Mara is 7?3 and he has 4 rebs in this game. Reed has 14 boards. Enough said.

Reed went 4-11 in the paint.  There was a reason, and his name was Aday Mara.

8pts/4rebs/1blk in 30 mins of play. For a guy that?s 7?3, not impressive. Mara is a decent college player, but I see him struggling in the NBA. I was going to say that he?d be lucky to carve out a role with a team like Garza did, but Mara can?t shoot and he?s slight for a center at 230lbs. Will be interesting to see how things play out with him, though. Just hope it?s not with Boston.
