TPs for the bounce back, albeit sloppy win after 2 hard fought losses.

Sloppy finish but it's still a win...
I thought they'd struggle this game after the OKC game -- play down to the competition.  thankfully they only did that after getting up 30 and Wash didn't have enough time to close all of that gap.

it's a win.  I'll take it

Celtics took care of business. Queta had a game high 24pts. Good win. TPs!

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

wow, Hugo -22 in 9 minutes.  the eye test said he was having an ineffective game but that puts it in a whole new light

12-46 from 3.  at some point, this team has got to stop bricking 3's when they're shooting like crap

It's what worries me come playoff time. Can they adjust if the 3s don't fall? They lost the 2023 ECF and 2025 Semi-Finals (MIA + NY) because of that. 2024 they had enough talent to overcome it + the road was a bit easier (not that I'm complaining).

I kind of like that Jaylen, Queta, even Pritchard occasionally tried to drive/attack when the 3s weren't falling and kept the flow going. They'll need to do that sometimes when the 3s aren't falling against great teams otherwise, even big leads will dwindle as we saw last year vs. the Knicks  :-\

It's on Joe to learn from those failures and develop a more diverse offensive strategy.   having the team be essentially a one-trick pony is not a good approach

We  have been saying that since he became coach. He is not going to change.
The weird thing is that his first 1/2 season as the head guy, he was running all sorts of movement and screening and offensive variety and the Celts were setting offensive records and then it mysteriously stopped. Unfortunately, I think Tatum aggravates the problem, great as he is, because he takes contested, step-back 3's as a regular part of his game. Brown has learned to work for mid-range shots and power layups more often. We can hope that as Tatum gets his strength and confidence back, he will do the same.  ::)

Why do the bench guys get their minutes cut so drastically when the regular starters return form injury ?
Players like Gonzalez, Walsh and Harper have made significant contributions when they are given regular minutes.
Plus it keeps the core players rested and maybe less injury-prone to play less time.
I'm not suggesting 20+ minutes for the rotation guys. More like 12 - 20 consistent time.
Their hustle gives us an additional weapon and changes the pace of the game.
