I simply love this guy. The way he knocks down threes against the Spurs so effortlessly is amazing. He reminds me more and more of his father. I think we have another great player in rotation, in the future even more than that. He definitely deserves a 1-way contract already. A big asset for the team for sure. What do the others think? 🏀

I mentioned it in the game thread last night - I thought Brad probably should have picked up another PG for the season to back up White and PP.  Harper, so far this season, is showing he's a capable 3rd string PG.  Depending on who's available in the offseason as a FA or draftee, I'd be ok with Harper getting a full roster slot if he shows the same level of play in next year's training camp

He's kind-of following the Neemy journey. Came to us following a failed attempt elsewhere; wasn't supposed to get a two-way, but outperformed the guy in front of him to take it anyway; played well in the G-League; impressed in small spurts with the big club; and will likely be signed on the last day of the season to a multi-year deal.

It's great that the Celtics saw that he was actually good and signed him. He's a little older and he's not likely to move into the starting rotation, but he's a good player deserving of a roster spot. A good depth piece for sure

Long-term, the only question is what kind of deal Brad will sign him to.  They could sign him to a rest-of-season deal this weekend, but if they wait until the last day of the year they can sign him to a deal up to four years using the MLE.  I have not done the math for how much over the minimum they could go in that scenario, if anything.
