Another thing about Queta is that he is only playing 25 minutes per game.  10 pts and 8+ rebounds in that time is something.

His per 36 is impressive....14.4pts,12.1rebs,2.1assists.1.9blcks,1.2steals

Why does Queta play only 25mpg?

Yes, this is the question.  It seems he has earned more minutes.  I think it is Mazzulla playing match ups.  There are certain situations where his weakness can be exploited more and others less.  Mazzulla is keeping him in the situation where he is best able to succeed.

I wonder if in the playoffs, he will see his minutes tick up some.

This was only one game so I don't want to say for sure this is "going to happen". But I remember the C's and Cavaliers game a week ago, Mazzulla seemed to run a pretty heavy 7-man rotation with a little bit of Hugo + Garza as the 8th/9th guys, and in that game Queta played 36 minutes. Yes, Tatum was on a restriction and Vucevic is out, but I got the sense Mazzulla was experimenting for potential playoff rotations.

I think once the playoffs begin, Queta will go up towards 28-32 minutes with Vucevic (~20 minutes) and Garza (~5-10 minutes) as great depth. Another small issue with Queta is sometimes he gets in foul trouble early. It hasn't been the case much recently which is probably a sign of growth, but early in the season sometimes he'd foul out and they'd be stuck with an inferior option at the end of games. But again, I'd like to think a veteran like Vucevic can help if something like that (or injuries) come up in the playoffs.
