I wanted my 3000th to be something special, so I took my time writing it.

I've been around CelticsStrong (and the other) in one form or another since 2007, and every year I'm reminded why this community has always felt like home. The back‑and‑forth banter, the debates that somehow stay both fiery and respectful, the running jokes that only make sense if you've been here long enough, it's all part of what makes this place special.

But what's kept me coming back most is the knowledge in this room. The posters here aren't just fans; they're students of the game. Whether it's breaking down a defensive rotation, digging into cap mechanics, or arguing about the 12th man with the intensity of a playoff series, the insight here has always been on another level.

It's been a blast being part of this community for nearly two decades, and I'm genuinely excited for what's ahead, new seasons, new arguments, new inside jokes, and the same passion that's carried this place from the early days to now.

Here's to the future, and to everyone who makes CelticsStrong what it is.

Great post, boscel33. Couldn?t agree more. Not being able to log on during the outages gave me a new appreciation for CelticsStong. It seems like not much lasts these days, so I am really thankful to everyone who keeps this site going.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I very much appreciate those who keep this place running and full of active discussion.  I've been registered at the predecessor site and then here since the end of 2006.  (I don't want to brag, but the stats say that I average 0.024 posts per day, which is very close to averaging 0.025.)  I check this site almost daily even during the off-season, just in case something comes up.  I really miss the place when it's offline.

TPs to all.

Yeah it's crazy, I joined about 2012 as a silent reader and then started contributing more after 2013. We've all witnessed and discussed a lot over the past 14+ years, and a lot has happened across the NBA and our Celtics. And in a way that 2024 title kind of felt like "vindication" or us passing the finish line after the past decade of rebuilding, retooling, building the young core, etc. and being along for the ride and coming up short some years before then.

It's been a blast and hopefully it continues that way for a very long time  ;D

The playoff times around here are extra fun and active too, especially the GDTs
