So glad there?s a Celts game to kill a few hours.  Still hard to believe the Pats are back I. If.  I have no real expectations, I just hope the Pats are able to play a solid game.

Top 5 favorite Patriots runs to the Super Bowl (not the SB itself but the trek to get there).

1) XX - the first trip there was such a fun treat with all sorts of crazy road wins

2) XXXVI - just getting there was pretty amazing, with the Bledsoe injury and the Brady run and the snow game and the Vinatieri kicks and on and on

3) LX - This one is right up there for me.  It?s just such an unexpected treat to be back.  And the team is so gosh darn lovable.

4) XXXI - the Parcells/Bledsoe Pats at their peak were the first team I really felt had a solid chance to win the whole thing (though the 1976 are still right up there too, they never made it past Oakland).

5) LIII - Brady/Belichick?s last hurrah.  The win in KC was right up there with the great wins in franchise history
Yup

Win or lose it has been a fantastic season. That being said, despite being the underdog I am not afraid of Sam Darnold and I like our chances. GO PATS!!

XLIX - the run having to beat the Ravens (down 14 twice) and smoking the Colts
LI - the run playing Brock Osweiler Texans and Ben Rottenberger Steelers
LII - having to play the Jaguars being down 20-10 before winning 24-20. Didn't like the end result of the Superbowl tho.

Bit of a nutty guy that one. But I think he?s liked and fun. That sounds a bit edgy and makes no discernible sense.

Maye got to find him some Hunter Henry tonight.

Feels like a huge advantage to whichever teams O-line can give their QB a little time and open a hole or two for the running game. Possible that both QBs will be feeling a lot of pressure. If that happens I like the trade off.

As Phantom posted in today's game thread.....

February 1, 2015. Pats beat the Seahawks in the SB. Celtics lost earlier in the day.

Go Pats...

I think the Psts will need a pick or two today.

If Darnold can throw a pick or two today while Maye limits to 0 turnovers that would be fantastic. Pats D needs to put the pressure to Seattle's offense.

I have been having Chili and Heady Topper for every playoff game and many of the regular season games, not going to change that  now.

Go Pats

What a long strange trip it has been.

Looks like NBC muted Green Day when singing American Idiot and it was hard to tell what Billy Joe said.

Not a good start to the quarter for the Pats. At least kept them to 3
