Boring game between our predictable style of play and horrid officiating.  And Joe's weak strategy of intentionally fouling Mitchell.  Outside of offensive rebounding Mitchell is skillless trash, but nobody wants to see that.

The other issue with an approach like that. You're literally gifting NY free throws at the end of quarters even more by just getting in foul trouble early in the quarter

15 points that quarter.   I think JB had 13 of them.  Clearly not acceptable.

PP with an uncharacteristically bad game.  White didn't do much that quarter.  Without those two scoring and the trade of Simmons we're dead in the water.

I?m not sure they considered what losing Simons would do to  bench scoring

Eh, Vucevic should make up for it with his post scoring, let alone if/when JT comes back. Today is more about nobody beeing able to hit the broad side of a barn.

People gotta give Vucevic time. There's literally numerous GDTs and threads from earlier in the year basically saying Simons was garbage, overrated, etc. and then after a few months he suddenly looked a lot better and was beloved lol

At his best Vucevic is still almost a walking double-double and definitely has a lot of the same traits as Horford.

God, Alvarado is annoying. Perfect Knick, because he's so unlikable.
