If Brad traded for him, don't expect Joe to play him much this year.  Garza helps the team more this season.

I would not expect him to play much because it is hard for players to jump in mid-season.  But as we saw the other day when Garza had four fouls in six first-half minutes that we do not have a real option behind Queta and Garza, and we need something.  Missi?s skill set is very similar to Queta, so it might be easier to fit him in than some players.

Good point.  An option to fill in when there is foul trouble, but not a regular rotation player.

If a team as bad as the Pelicans don't want him, why should we?

Did you say the same thing about Queta when we got him from Sacramento?

Looks like Brad did his due diligence. Interesting.

Exactly. And we got Queta for free. Presumably NOP wants a pick. It makes sense if they don?t think they can develop him and want to focus on Queen. Not a lot of sense since he?s cheap and controlled, but maybe they just really want a pick after blowing it with ATL and IND

Please post that if you can find it, I have been a Queta supporter, for the most part.  ( I responded later as I misunderstood your question.)

I did not, and Sacramento was a way better team when we got Neemi than Pelicans are today.

I think he duplicates Queta's game quite a bit.  I think it would be ok to get him if we keep Simmons.

Trey Murphy and Yves Missi for Simmons works.

We would have to add picks.  NO is a disaster maybe we can take advantage of their desperation.  We add some scoring pop, get the big man But it would take some good picks.  This move makes the most sense if Tatum can come back for a title run in good shape.   The latest video did not make think he is near at it was nowhere near game speed.
