What happened to DWhite? That dude stinks lately
No Tatum means he is the #2 on the team. He just can't handle the role and pressure a defense now puts on him. He would be fine once Tatum is back and he gets less coverage from teams as a #3 option.
Yeah but even on defense he looks lost sometimes. Leaving shooters open, gambling on steals, missed rotations
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

I have a hard time hating this Detroit team.   Cade is a great player, works hard, shares the ball, plays hard on both ends.  The other guys play hard, play their roles, are pests on def.  I still can't stand Duncan Robinson, but other than him the Pistons are pretty likeable.   But if Tatum comes back in mid / end of March and we stay in the 2 seed, I like our chances against this Detroit team in an ECF matchup.

For me all I need to see to hate this team is watch Isiah Stewart play.  I don't like Detroit and never will.  Cade Cunningham though is a legit star and he's about the only Piston I don't dislike.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Yeah, White sucked shooting the ball. There is no doubt about that. But he was also +9 in 37 minutes. So, in the 11 minutes he didn?t play, the Celtics were outscored by 10. He is everywhere out there.

I agree that he?ll be better once Tatum is back, but not because he can?t create his own shot. He is the lead playmaker of this team right now as well as the best defender. We?ve seen efficiency issues with a guy like Smart when given this much responsibility in the past and even Tatum on occasion.

Tatum?s return will let White pick his spots and hopefully it?ll be less stressful for him out there.

They've got be the "handsiest" team in the league.  Very disruptive on D.
