I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

What a well rounded game from JB. 30pts/9rebs/7ast. 9-18 from the field 10-11 from the line. Can?t ask for much more than that.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

There are many better player analysts here than me so hopefully they will chime in, but I thought Hugo earned his minutes tonight with great energy all around and great impact on the defensive end. I think the two steals and 1 block under-reflects his contribution - very engaged as he usually is. Kept the ball moving on offense and when opportunities came, took advantage and finished.  He was needed on the boards as Miami jumped out to a big rebounding advantage, especially on their offensive end.  Hugo helped stem that tide in the second half. Really good game for him.

Looking at the box score, and I am wondering, who played center the 20-odd minutes Queta was on the bench?

In the fourth it was either Walsh or Gonzalez defensively.  Earlier in the game it was Minott as he has been doing.

Might be a hot take but imho Pritchard is the weakest link in the starting unit and it?s not close.

I do think we should be looking to move PP back to a bench role next season.

They should do it this season. Once Tatum comes back. White as the starting PG and JB at SG.

Yes. If J Walsh can keep up his shooting, I'd start him. Or whichever one of the defensive wings (Hugo, J Walsh, Minott) manages to shoot well enough to start. Possibly Hauser as a last ditch option.

Also depends if A Simons is still on the team. Probably don't want him and Pritchard off the bench. Might have to keep starting Pritchard if Simons isn't traded midseason. Ideally Simons for a center.

G: D White, Pritchard
G: J Walsh, Hugo
F: Jaylen, Hauser
F: Tatum, Minott
C: (new center), Queta

That is a team capable of winning the East.

Hate to admit that I think PP should be back in the sixth man role.  Love the guy and he?s worked hard to be a starting guard. But he is probably more of an impact coming off the bench.  Hope he will take it well.  Doubt it results in much difference in mpg.

I agree. The fact is that every year in the playoffs there are certain matchups that just don?t work well for PP and he?s a liability if you put him out there for 30 minutes.

He?s best served as a bench player.
