Turner would be the type of player the C's should be targetting with that Simons contract.  Shouldn't need to add sweetener other than maybe a second rounder since we'd be taking a lot of salary commitment off their hands.  would work out for us as well know we'd have him for another 2 years during the J's prime.  Turner and Q would be a good center combo

I was looking at their roster and thought the same think.  Heck, I would love to pry Bobby Portis from them as well if they break up the team.

I think Milwaukee will laugh and hang up. It'll start with one of the Jays when they deal with Giannis.

For both teams it would almost certainly have to include JT or JB. Celtics, especially having been second apron the last two years, will likely be unable to spend to add to this team. The four 1sts thing also is impossible. Celtics traded their 2029 1st to Portland for Jrue back in 2023. That means they cannot trade their 2028 or 2030 1st round picks either because of rules against trading firsts in back to back years. Their 2032 first round pick is currently frozen and unavailable to be traded because of the multiple years over the second apron. That leaves either 2026 or 2027 and 2031. And if those picks are from a team in the East that will have a top 3 player, top 7 player and top 25 player, it is highly unlikely those picks will have any real potential, even though those players will be 36, 33 and 34 when the second pick conveys. So the two Boston can trade wouldn?t have that much value and those other two non existent first round picks probably have to take the form of Hugo and maybe one or two of Scheierman, Walsh or Minott as ?equivalent value?. Which might work financially since if you trade for Giannis, you probably have to take Thanassis and Alex too, but I cannot see Milwaukee taking that deal over other offers they?d get - particularly the conceptual Trae Young, Risacher, and multiple picks including the better of the Milwaukee and New Orleans picks this year.

So you really have to consider Brown or Tatum as the centerpiece. For Tatum, I think the offer is Tatum straight up for Giannis. Hurts Milwaukee this year and there is an obvious risk that Tatum cannot come back as the player he was but the upside which is likelier in my opinion is they get a top 7 player who is three years younger. So even if they cannot or do not want to build around that (though Turner, Portis and the guards they have would fit well around JT) they have possibly an even better trade chip than an older and unhappy Giannis. Milwaukee should do this if it was available. But even though the Celtics would simply add one of the three best players in the league without removing anything from a roster that currently is not much different from any other East team, Celtics should not. White-Pritchard-Jaylen-Giannis-Queta with Simons, Walsh, Minott, Hauser, Hugo, Scheierman, Tillman, Garza, Boucher I think would be favorites in the East but still have a tough time winning a title this year or in the next couple.

For Brown, he has improved his value this year but he is not a top 10 NBA player so Boston probably has to throw in assets. But how much? My initial thought was the two firsts (26/27 and 31), a swap of Simons for Kuzma to give Milwaukee an additional year of cap relief and one of Minott or Walsh for the other brothers Antetokounmpo. But I am not sure all that is necessary. Jaylen is still only 29 and can give a team a strong offense mostly on his own. But Milwaukee would need the two picks and I think the Simons-Kuzma has real value in giving the Bucks salary relief while they rebuild. So just sub in Garza or Boucher or Tillman to match salary instead of Minott or Walsh. Potential playoff/2026-2027 lineup of White-Pritchard-Tatum-Giannis-Queta with Walsh, Minott, Hauser, Kuzma, Hugo, Scheierman, 2 of Tillman/Garza/Boucher - that looks like a championship contender.

As wary as I am of the possibility that Giannis continues to break down toward the end of seasons, I would probably pull the trigger on that. It?s tough having two supermax guys on the same team, but if it?s two top 7 players, that?s worth the difficulties.
Go Celtics.

Celtics don't have 4 firsts to trade, actually they can't even trade 3 firsts right now.

They can trade EITHER 26' or 27, but not both. They can also trade EITHER 31' or 32', but not both. This is because they've already traded 29' and a team can't be without first rounders in consecutive years under the Stepien rule.

More picks will open up at the 2026 draft, at that point they'll be able to trade draft rights to whomever they pick in 26'+27'+31'+33' as well as swap rights in 30' and 32'. But until then they can only really trade two firsts.
