Jimmy Cliff, one of the great reggae artists of all time is dead at 81.
Cliff was the main force behind *The Harder They Come* movie and soundtrack. He starred in it and wrote/performed many of the tracks. Soundtrack came out in 1973 and was huge in my college years (76-80). If you?ve never listened to the soundtrack - please find it and listen. Can?t not like it. I don?t think there was a party in my college years that didn?t play some Jimmy Cliff.
Very sad to hear of his passing.
