LaMelo is absolutely worth 2 1st round picks.  Even with his health.  Heck, his health is the only reason he might be available at a price like that.  If LaMelo was healthier he'd be a 4 1st round pick, plus young player, plus solid veteran type player.  The health is obviously a huge risk, but his talent is immense.  I think you take the flyer on the health and trade the draft picks.

4 firsts is a massive over pay, even is he was healthy.   2 is more fair.  ORL was crazy with the Desmond Bane trade and this should not be used for a gauge for good trades.  B/r has him the 49th best player in the league.  He is oft injured and ver inefficient .

Anyone can get hurt, but this is almost chronic with the injuries.

LaMelo Ball has played roughly  57% of possible NBA games in his career (247 out of 433 as of late 2025

Itis bad folks and ankle injuries can lead to other injuries.   That is way more injurty prone than Porzingas.   We don't need Mr. Glass 2.0

top 20 my butt.  right now if healthy he wouldn't be top 3 on a healthy C's team.  Tatum, Brown and White are all better than him.

he is 4 spots behind white accounting for the injuries on that list.  If he was healthier he'd be significantly higher.  Definitely in the same range as Towns, Harden, etc.

Lamelo turned 24 a few months ago. He?s played in the league 6yrs and has career averages of 21pts/8ast/6rebs on 42/36/84 shooting splits. Might be injury prone, but he?s an elite talent.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I don't disagree with him being very talented.  I don't think he's as valuable a player as Harden or Towns as was mentioned previously and I don't see him as valuable as Tatum, Brown or White if he were on the C's.
