Honestly I liked the read.  He just didn't get the ball up over Drummond.

I feel like he could?ve easily just made the jumpshot, specially with drumomd in between him and Q. Maybe he?s taking his playmaking role seriously

Had to come back to Earth. Philly is a solid team - and they are at home.  I hated the Drummond three, but other than that, Philly fought back hard, Oubre is always tough, and the rookie doesn't play like a rookie.   Maxey is going to have a good second half - will be hard for Boston to keep the lead - hope they're in it at the end.

I missed the first 20 minutes of the game, how did Philly look with Embiid on the court,? I have this theory. (Unsubstantiated.) that they are actually better without Embiid on the court this year than with, based on earlier games, I?ve seen them play

On another note, something must?ve happened to Apple?s dictation because it?s coming with all kinds of weird words so some of my posts will probably look funny

I think your theory is right.  They looked pretty bad with Embiid.  They either play fast and leave him lagging behind the game, or they play at his pace and sabotage Maxey and Edgecombe in the process.  They started hurting us late in the second when they benched him and cranked the pace back up. 

He's a problem for them.  A nearly-immovable contract through 2029.  He looks like he can't play anymore and he doesn't fit the playstyle of their younger guys.  Not sure how they build a contender with him weighing them down.  Paul George isn't a ton better from a cap standpoint but at least he should be able to play the running game if he ever gets back on the court.
