Rojas is a Blue Jays killer. Sheesh bases loaded and they survived.

Extra innings incoming

Toronto sucks. Hoffman blows a save by surrendering a homer to a No. 9 hitter who hadn't had a homer in a month in a half. Then the Jays can't score a runner from third with 1 out. SMH

What a freaking game. Not capitalizing on bases loaded with  one out may come back to bite them.

I think it will. It doesn't often happen that a team blows a chance like that and then still wins it.

Plus, the Blue Jays can't get a freakin' clean inning even once, and they just walked Betts again, so this won't be a clean inning.

Lol well the Dodgers just did the same thing so who knows!

I feel a bottom 10 walk off coming on.

I'm in an odd spot.  I'm rooting for the Jays but these playoffs have made me a fan of Yamamoto and I don't want him to take the L.

B2b titles for LA Dodgers.

Jays folded really hard these last two home games.

How do they let Miguel Rojas kill them with that homer to get the tie, and then let Rojas kill them on bases loaded. This guy or Yamamoto should win MVP lol

Dodgers trailed the series 3-2 and won two straight in Toronto, unbelievable.

Vlad gets a double in bottom of 11th and they go for tie and waste out and sacrifice him setting up game ending double play. What a horrible coaching decision going for tie instead of win. Loser mentality equals loser result. Bummer.

But ofc, good 'ol former Red Sox Mookie Betts was out there saving their season. He was esp huge in Game 6.

Yup, big time. Going back to the last inning of Game 6 -- when the Blue Jays had second and third with no outs and got nothing out of it -- Toronto choked it hard.

And baseball has a problem, because there's nothing stopping the Dodgers from winning the next 4-5 titles -- they're willing to spend, they have smart leadership, and most of the game's best players want to play there.

In fact, I think this run -- starting with last year's title and running through the next 4-5 years -- is going to be similar to the Bulls run of the '90s: the Dodgers will face a different AL team in the WS just about every year, and they'll beat every one of them.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
This is such a bummer. I get that the Blue Jays are a division rival, but I've never really hated them like the Yankees or even Rays. It would have been a feel good story.

I saw somebody say that wanting the Dodgers to win was like rooting for Amazon over your local record store. Yes, the Dodgers are smart and a well-run organization, but the spending is out of control and I hate the deferred money bs. They also just tied us for 3rd in total WS wins.

If I were a Blue Jays fan, I'd be so depressed. I guess we as Celtics fans felt something similar back in 2010, but at least we had just won in 2008. It's been 32 years for the Blue Jays and I can't imagine they'll have another shot any time soon. So devastating.
