I think deciding between two (or more) college players with late first round or second round selections is a really difficult thing to do. People here say who they would have picked (especially when their favored person turns out to be better than the selected one), but I have my doubts that any of us would have made the good selection if it were actually our choice. That is to day, we may have - but we also may have been presented with other ideas and had other influences, and may have second guessed our initial instinct. Sometimes it's no more than a crap shoot. You hope you are selecting the right guy, but often in the late first and second you have to be pretty lucky that you are selecting the right guy. Obviously some GMs have proven better than others - but there is no GM with a perfect draft record and my guess is most who've done it for a while are wrong more often than they are correct. Sometimes you look like a genius when you really aren't... If BB had any idea what he was getting with Brady he would not have waited till the 6th round.
