One interesting thing that Indiana did, was trading for Zubac in-season. He's another piece for them going forward along with Haliburton, Siakam, an incoming Top-5 pick and then a pretty good supporting cast with Nesmith/Nembhard/McConnell, etc.
I think I still prefer the Celtics path though. Also, I'm wondering is Indiana tanking purely on purpose, or is it also possible like others have mentioned that last year was a bit of a flash in the pan and some of these guys aren't *that* good? I mean they lost Haliburton and Turner but they still have had others (Siakam, Nesmith, Nembhard, Mathurin before trade) and yet they were still that bad?? Is Haliburton that valuable for them where losing him alone makes them a 25 win team?
