Walsh seems to have solidly taken a step back in terms of his spot in the rotation.

Could you see him getting traded?

I was just looking at his monthly splits there. J Walsh shot 83.1% TS in the month of December. Back down to 50.5% TS for the month of January. 9.5ppg and 4.9rpg in 20.6mpg in Dec to 3.5ppg and 3.8rpg in 15.8mpg in Jan.

83.1% TS is ridiculous. What a hot streak.

It?s possible, but it would have to be as more than a throw-in.  He is still on his minimum contract through next year, and his salary will be even a little cheaper than a minimum-salary signed through free agency because the cap has increased faster than his raises.  As the Celtics are still cap- and tax-conscious, Walsh is quite valuable to the team even towards the back of the rotation at his price.
