Embiid took so many shots away from Maxey. Tyrese finished with 14 attempts. Joel had 21.

Walsh was like glue to Maxey in the first half too.  That definitely contributed.

Tim Bontemps: Donte DiVincenzo, like Jayson Tatum last year, will have his Achilles surgery done by Dr. Martin O?Malley at HSS here in New York less than 24 hours after suffering the injury, per the Wolves. Hopefully DiVincenzo is able to have a similar comeback story.

I?m still expecting the Knicks to win, but I?d love to see the series go to 7 games.

The Cavs did not get a defensive rebound in the last 5 minutes as they choked away an 8 point lead getting outscored 17-5 to end the game.  Sam Merrill scored all 5 points.   What a display of mental weakness.  I still think they win game 5 and the series, but if not, game 4 will haunt them.

I would call for conspiracy theories except this also happened last year in the Lakers-Wolves round (same schedule and time off basically).

Regardless, it seems likely the next round for OKC-LAL will start Sunday or Monday unless somehow LAL goes a full 7 games against the Rockets.
