LOL that Banchero 3, omg. Huge win for Orlando. That series could also go 6 or 7 now

I had a feeling Detroit was only built for the regular season.  They don?t have a legitimate 2nd option.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

So now #8 Orlando leads #1 Detroit 2-1.

And #6 Atlanta leads #3 New York 2-1.

While #2 Boston and #4 Cleveland both lead their series.

Could be a weird second round if the teams in the lead finish things off.

Celtics/Hawks and Cavs/Magic would feel very, very weird.

Detroit needs Duren to turn back into Duren.  They aren?t going anywhere with the version that has shown up in this series.

Maybe DET was not for real after all.  The series is by no means over.  If DET can win the next game, they are right back in the driver's seat.  I also think that ORL is better than people thought.  They were inconsistent all season, and that may be a charitable way to say it, but they are healthy now and appear focused.

As to NYK, not sure what is going on.  I didn't think ATL was at the same level as NYK.  Huge game today for NYK.  They will probably take it, but the pressure is very much on them.

A game 4 with the lower seed up 2-1 is maybe the biggest swing game in an NBA series. The difference between the series being 2-2 (and thus favoring the higher seed) vs 3-1 (and thus substantially favoring the lower seed) is massive.

Knicks vs Atlanta
Detroit vs Orlando
Denver vs Minnesota

Some big game 4's incoming.

I'm not gonna lie, I'd be pretty happy to get Hawks and Magic in the next two rounds if we are able to finish off the Sixers.

Which isn't a guarantee with our one dimensional offense and our 3rd option shooting 29% from the field (20% 3pt), but if we can get that turned around, then watch out.

I'm most upset about the Lakers. I'm still a Marcus Smart lover, but it absolutely pains me seeing him ball out for those bums

What is wrong with Mark Williams? Why is he not playing? He seems to be getting ruled out game to game. All I can find is "left foot issue". No word on when he will return.

SGA has missed only 1 shot. 11-12 FGA for 26pts in 26 minutes. Willing his team over the line.

Rest of the team is 22-50 FGA. 44% FG. Chet hasn't stepped up to the plate with J-Dub out. Ajay Mitchell struggling with his shot is 4-14 FGA. Quiet scoring nights from Hartenstein & Dort. Caruso is their 2nd leading scorer with 10pts.

SGA putting the team on his back offensively.

When Jalen Green plays well, PHX are a pretty good team. D Booker is usually reliable. But Jalen Green is all over the place as the team's 2nd best scorer / offensive player. So inconsistent. Often inefficient. But when Jalen Green shows up, that is a nice offense.

Dillon Brooks as a 3rd scorer. C Gillispie and Grayson Allen as shooters at guard. Those are 3 nice support players to their 2 scorers. Get Mark Williams rim running and finishing at the basket and you have a strong offensive group - if Jalen Green plays well.

Especially with OKC missing J-Dub. There is a bit vulnerability there. OKC's defense is still amazing but their offense is only so-so. PHX can cause them problems - when Jalen Green plays well.

Knicks got the extender tonight, so it's probably going to be a tied 2-2 series

The bright side? Means no Foster tomorrow for the Celtics game  :)

Would love to see the Hawks win tonight.  Doubt that will happen but that would be a tough hole for NY to dig out of.
