Not sure if there is a better team fit for Towns than NYK. I'd be moving on from Brunson before Towns as there are a lot of teams that would pick up Brunson for his offense today and overpay. Towns needs to fit a team.

Maybe we see the Zion (+picks) for Towns swap. Another is a trade for Giannis. I could see those possibly working

I've seen players make dumb choices. I've seen fans make dumb choices. I've seen coaches make dumb choices. Honestly the best way to do it is how we already do it, give everybody an input and let the shear mass o votes drown out the people who don't take it seriously.

Cunningham should be 1 in east, but after that great argument for JB at 2.

If I was the Knicks I would be negotiating with the Nets for Michael Porter Jr.

A deal involving Wizards 2026 1st round pick + Towns & Yabusele for Porter Jr & Mann.

Interesting idea. It leaves NY short of bigs though. Only M Robinson. I wonder if the deal would work better if we swapped out T Mann for Nic Claxton.

So MPJ + N Claxton for Towns + Yabu. Money is slightly off. They could rejig it somehow. Maybe keep T Mann in the deal and add Josh Hart. That works.

Warriors go for a title this year and bring back Klay, while the Mavs get younger and with Butler out can help stay out of the playoffs for draft pick purposes.

The Golden State Warriors are open to different possibilities with their roster in the wake of Jimmy Butler III's torn right ACL. Warriors GM Mike Dunleavy Jr. said that could include trades, but that he doesn't expect that to include moving Butler.

"I don't envision that, but now that you've brought it up, I guess I'd say what I envision for him is kind of give us a boost next year the same way he did last year when he arrived," Dunleavy said when asked if the team would consider trading Butler. "And so, at some point during (next) season he'll be returning."

On Kuminga

Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy addressed Kuminga's recent trade request before the game with pointed comments about market demand.

"As far as the demand, I'm aware of that," Dunleavy said. "In terms of demands, when there's a [trade] demand, there needs to be a demand on the market. So we'll see how that unfolds."

Ouch. Nobody wants Kuminga. At least nobody is willing to give up any value for him.

Not a good situation for player or team.
