Wemby is dominating.
Hes disgusting. The pump fake from like 12 feet, rip through into an under basket reverse dunk (would have been a layup for every other player in the league) was one of the filthiest plays I've ever seen.

He definitely has a Wilt-like element to him where he does a lot of things that no one else can physically or athletically come close to doing.  It almost tricks the eye into disbelief because it?s so unusual.

That?s a really good way of putting it. He made AD look like an average player. It was something else.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

There's a good chance that Wemby may just literally dominate the league for the next 15 years. May just have to hope that the Spurs are inept at team building around him.

Agree with both sentiments. It is crazy to think that AD is giving up 7+ inches in height to Wemby. If Wemby was 7'2, I would be blown away by his fluidity, athleticism and coordination. The fact that he is 7'5 with an 8' wingspan, yet has those qualities? Insane.

When compared to his peers, Wilt seems like an great comparison for outlier traits.

With Castle and Harper, don?t hold your breath in that one. The bigger likelihood preventing a long run of domination is injuries. Which usually happen to very tall players.

I think the Spurs could be contenders already. Team has a lot of talent and depth.

Starters: Fox, Vassell, Castle, Barnes, Wemby
Bench: Harper, Champagnie, Johnson, Sochan, Olynyk, Kornet.

I agree.  Good mix of vets and really good young players.  OKC was bad for a long time before they were finally able to draft and trade themselves back into contention.  SAS is on that same trajectory.  It will be the new NBA blueprint due to the second apron rules.  All good teams will get to the point that they have to let good players go, as they come off rookie deals.  The only way back to being good will be through the draft.  I don't see how you and do it by spending alone anymore.

He looked like a 7'5 Allen Iverson, crossing AD over and leaving him in the dust.  Not to mention a 7'5 Durant with the beautiful midrange shots.

Orlando got a lotta size at forward.

F Wagner = 6-9 230lbs
Banchero = 6-9 250lbs
J Isaac = 6-11 220lbs
T da Silva = 6-8 220lbs

That is a lot of size to be able to throw at teams with talented forwards.

I am watching some of that Miami game from last night. I wanted to see Desmond Bane on the Magic. Bane looks great. His shooting is a major addition. Suggs is back too. Almost forget about him missing so much time last season. So their backcourt looks great with Suggs and Bane. Tyus Jones as new backup PG. He looks an improvement over Cole Anthony.

F Wagner is looking fantastic as well - 24pts 6ast 4reb 2stl on 9-17 FGA. Banchero keeps improving. J Isaac didn't do much. T da Silva had a big game though. 16pts with 3 triples on 5-8 FGA 3-4 FTA. He might be ready for a step forwards this year. I expect the experience on the German national team was very good for him. He looks comfortable in that Orlando offense. Just one of those interchangable forwards.

Orlando look nice.

NBA Finals rematch tonight, and we got Mathurin with 34 points while Siakam with 28 points

Went into OT again for OKC Thunder. Getting their legs worked out these two nights I see, making them a target on the back.

We got double-overtime. Wild.

I really like Mathurin for Indy. He?s going to be a very good two way player.

I don?t know why Siakam (or is it Carlisle?) thinks he?s a point guard.

26 freethrows for SGA is absurd.

Aaron Gordon exploded for 50 points and 8 rebounds, but still not enough to hold off the Warriors in San Fran. And old pal Al Horford looked sharp from downtown, nailing 3 of 4 and had 13 points.
