The Celtics shattered the league reord with 3955 3's attempted last season (48.2 per game).  Will they take even more 3's this year?

Yep.  If it ain't a 3 why shoot it?

Nope.  Infinity 3's are just too many to match.

With their current roster and size, I think we'll see just as much of a focus on the 3's as last year, but I don't know that we have the personnel to shoot the percentage that warrants shooting quite as many.  I'm going with the under.  Maybe in 40-42 per game range.
Yup

I think so, because of the roster. They are a younger team too so they'll try to be fast-paced and speedy out there, however with the lack of much in the frontcourt I think they are going to have to rely a lot on shooting the 3 ball well to put up points. They probably won't be able to but they'll try.

I don't think they'll surpass last year.  We lost three pretty prolific 3PT shooters in Tatum, Jrue and Al, and only replaced them with one shooter (Simons).  Hauser may have a larger role, along with Scheierman hopefully earning a rotation spot, but I don't think we'll have the same volume without a legit stretch 5.

No, it'll be coaching malpractice if they do.  They don't have the personnel to do it.

I probably should have clarified. Obviously I'm not advocating for this approach. I just think it'll be hard for them to score some nights especially with not much scoring in the frontcourt (Queta, Boucher, Tillman, etc.) and if they fall behind big in games they'll probably start jacking them up.

But some of their guys like Tillman, Queta, etc. aren't 3-point shooters so it'll be interesting to see. Usually in recent years they basically had an entire roster with guys who were capable of at least shooting some 3s, Kornet probably the only exception.
