Irrational Optimism Only Thread

 Here are some predictions for this year. Feel free to add, remember no Haters allowed here!!!

 Jaylen Brown steps up huge in his chance to be the Alpha Dog. Avg 28.5 ppg 8rpg 7apg 1.5spg and 1 bpg. He's a monster in.the 4th quarter hitting 5 game winning buckets.

 Dwhite steps up as well. 18 ppg  6apg 5rpg playing all nba type defense.

 Prichard goes crazy in his starting role  19 ppg 6apg 5rpg.

 Simoms thrives in his bench role avg 18.5ppg off the bench launching 10 threes per game hitting on 37%

 Best news of all. Queta is a beast playing 30 mpg per night. 13 ppg 10 rpg 2 bpg

 Garza is a scoring machine off the bench hitting 40% from the 3 point line giving us 10 ppg in a backup role.

 Amari Williams gets called up and takes Garzas backup center job, playing point center. He looks like the a combination of Lamar Odom and a homeless Jokic.

 And Hugo is combination of Bruce Bowen and Manu Ginobli.  Future HOF.

 Celtics 55 and 27 for the season! Let's go Celtics!

Walsh shoots 37% on 3s, Baylor shoots 40% on 3s. Queta looks like a passable starting center all year.

We go into next season feeling good about all 3 of them as top 8 rotation players on a championship level team.

The White, Pritchard, and Simons ones are all entirely possible imo. The rest?well, I wont ruin the positive vibe of intended for the thread lol.

I'm just hoping for a fun team to watch, and I think that is very likely.

The combination of White-Simons-Pritchard playing uptempo should put up points in spurts. I also like the Garza/Boucher frontcourt as guys that can play fast, pile up the points, and be fan favorites. Queta should be our starter, but I think those guys may have a higher +/- than Neme.

In the half-court, I'm excited to see Brown continue to develop his playmaking skills, which have gotten better each of the last two seasons. I'd love to see him around 22ppg, but with 7-8 apg. Just let the other guys do all the work this year Brown. don't force it. Stay healthy. Be a distributor.

I'm also excited about Minott and Hugo. I'm excited to see them develop as energy guys and see if they can develop their ball skills.

I'm excited to watch a team with next to no expectations. I dont know about the rest of you but for the last 4-5 seasons have been fun but stressful. I think this season will just be fun to follow developments.
