Maye started terribly and then went on to do enough to win.  A bunch of uncharacteristic throws along the way.
Not sure how the Pats survive the loss of Campbell.  We?re all assuming ACL just as sure as JT was an Achilles.  Awaiting the confirmation.

Too bad, especially with Colts losing today - Pats with a good shot at the bye.

The o-line just cannot impose their will physically, even against the worst run defense in the NFL. And now major injuries.

We're 10-2 and yet it kinda feels like we just got eliminated.

We played like we thought it was an easy win and got beat up instead. I don't think those guys get hurt if we come out laying the wood. Just a devastating game.

Other thoughts: that Pats offsides penalty on 4th down in the 2nd quarter was unbelievable. I didn't know that nonsense actually ever worked. Sigh.

And giving up a FG at the end of the first half was pathetic. Just a lack of situational awareness, which was unfortunately a recurring theme today.

Also terrible TO management in the 2nd half. Dodged a bullet.

The fact we won today is a minor miracle. Perhaps it will be a wakeup call going forward that will rally us past these injuries.

This game reminded me of the CLE/NE game in 2013. Just brutal injuries (losing Gronk for the season) but still won the game in ugly fashion.

Saw one report that said MCL and this that says sprain.

I guess nothing really known definitively yet.

MCL sprain is probably the best thing that can happen to him

Reading this morning, Campbell probably to the IR and miss 4 games with an MCL sprain.  Wilson, will also probably miss 4 games with a high ankle sprain.  Talking about depleting our OL!

Does it mean 4 weeks or 4 games?  We have the bye week in there.  With 5 games left that means eligible for 1 more regular season game (maybe 2). If one or both are healthy enough to play in the last regular season game, that would be great.  Would have to think that a bye in the first round of the playoffs is very unlikely now but it?s still not impossible. Could work out great if the Pats somehow do get the first round bye and both of these guys can get to 100% by their first playoff game. A blessing in disguise I the making.

That's truly a miracle if we can get back all of Wilson, Campbell and Milton Williams by the playoffs, especially Campbell given how his injury and reactions looked.

It'll suck for a bit now, but I didn't think we were winning out anyways. 13-4 is still realistic to me. In a way, it might help us become a bit more battle tested for January.

Given how vulnerable the league seems to be this year, if the Pats can be healthy for the playoffs, anything can happen.  Actually, I am dubious that literally anything can happen, but I think being competitive through the playoffs - at least in the AFC - is possible.

It does stick in my craw that the Pats didn't go all out at the deadline.  I doubt they were going to get any O-line help, but another solid receiver (as in Meyers) and some DLine depth would have been great. As it is, we sure could use a better pass rush and our run defense has faltered with Williams out. The biggest need may turn out to be on the O-line - that 9-play debacle, most of which was at the Cincinnati 1 yard line had to be embarrassing for players and coaches.  No way should they be so inept on short-yardage situations.  Also pretty inept running the ball on first down - leaving Maye almost always with 2nd and 3rd and long.

I am not sure how different it will be on the OL with Lowe and Brown in for Campbell and Wilson, for a few games.  Drake Maye has been sacked 37 times, only behind Cam Ward and Gino Smith.  The line has not been great at pass protection anyway.  The run offense is 19th or 20th best.  I know it is a downgrade, but I think we can still win with these guys considering the schedule.  I am more concerned with Milton Williams.

The Pats have been riding high.  But now they are like every other team.  Every team has someone on their OL who is hurt.  A key defensive player hurt.  They will draft some more depth this off season and be a little better, a little deeper next season.  For this season, in my mind it is already a win.  It is a bummer, without at least a solid OL, they will not win much in the playoffs, but I don't see the point in Monday morning QB'ing this.  To me, this is exactly why you don't make a rash deal at the deadline.  Just keep building, stay the course.
